BO3 Simple Snap Curve
« on: 10:46 AM - 11/12/15 »
After reading some of Dale's very informative posts and thinking about the curve I would need, I FINALLY had a breakthrough last night.  I've been playing with very high sens on both hip and ADS.  It was making me too twitchy during fine aim.  But when I brought it down to a comfortable level, I couldn't turn fast enough.  So all I did was apply a top-end accelerated curve.  Just took a couple rounds to find the starting acceleration point.  Once I did...  WOW.  The aim assist became an actual assist versus a hinderance.  I was staying on target, able to control recoil AND quick snap in ADS to next target.  I was also able to make 90* hip turns without massive mouse movement.  I play a lot of Nuketown so you gotta be fast!

Hardware:
G502 - 8000 DPI, 1000 poll

Hip:
25
NO boost
NO steady aim

ADS:
13
NO boost
NO steady aim
200ms delay

>>> XIM4 [Mouse Ballistics] START PASTE >>>
X4MB:AAAAGgA0AC4AMAAwAC4AMgAwADEANQAxADAAMQA3AAoUHigyPktbbH6SpLjIyMjIyMjI:X4MB
<<< XIM4 END PASTE <<<

Should look like...

Above is settings were with the Gorgon using stock.  As I tried lighter weapons I simply had to lower my sens a bit.  Since everyone is different, you will have to play with the sens to get it how you want it.  I got on a roll with the Gorgon and ran out 10 rounds in a row like below...  1/2 Dom, 1/2 HP.

Love to get some feedback.  I know it won't help everyone, but those who want snappy feel but have been fighting for fine aim control, give this a go and good luck!

I can tell your starting to understand curves. =)  good work.
Although, you are using the gorgon... Lol. That gun is by far OP.  Try your curve in close corridors.  I can see where your curve 'may'  fall short.  Good luck fellow experimenter =)
Headset -  Triton Ax Pros
Monitor -  Ben Q RL2755HM
Console -  Xbox One/ PS4
Mouse -  Logitech G502
DPI -  12,000  HZ -  500

Thank you.

I had just as much success with other guns.  I ran the MOW, ARK and VMR too.  Just with less sens.  The stats I posted were Gorgon because that's what I screenshot.  I have some other saved configs but can't open them at work.

I noticed that's this curve helped me track across the board.  I wasn't fighting the AA in close situations.

Yes, I use it for both.  Sorry for any confusion!

Do you prefer your G502 at 8000 dpi\1000 PR over 8K\500Pr or 12K\500PR?

8000/1000 seems to be working just fine.  Maybe it is a combo of other settings, but I am MUCH smoother now.

Didn't play much with the curve over the weekend.  Curve working just fine.  However, couple settings updates:

SMGs (razorback & vpm)
Hip: 18
ADS: 9

ARs (ARK, XR2, Sheiva)
Hip:  19
ADS: 10

What about LMGs?

Oh yeah!  Brought it down as well...

Hip: 22
ADS: 12

That's for the Gorgon.  I might go closer to the AR settings with the other LMGs.

I will give this a try and let you know how I get on with it.

I am a high sens player too, so twitchiness is an issue for me too.

Thanks for the curve :)

What about in-game sensitivity, I see some don't max out vertical or horizontal?
