One way is to map buttons to right and left turn (under Advanced Mouse Settings).
Could someone please explain how this can be achieved?  Thanks!
Not trying to spam but this question seemed to get lost so I thought I'd ask again. Thanks for any assistance.

in the keyboard advanced options at the bottom you can bind the right stick to the keyboard
eg Arrow Right to analogstick right
this means when you hold down the Arrow Right key you will turn with the maximum speed to the right

imo this isnt really usefull for a shooter, maybe for vehicles

one thing is for sure though, with the new look mechanic its super easy to use vehicles with the mouse ;)

Hey Odin, do you have a switcher at all for vehicles or do you just run with the standard HIP config unaltered? I jumped into a ghost and it was ok with my standard HIP, but wraiths/scorpions were very sluggish. Just curious what others are doing for vehicles in H5, might set up a vehicle config with turn assist on it.

im using a curve for vehicles in Halo 5
cannot copy the code right now but it looks like this

Thanks Odin, that looks easy enough to replicate without the code. I'll give that a bash when I'm on later.

I'm really bad at H5, but enjoying it nonetheless. Thought I'd get better when I plugged my Xim in instead of using the pad. The improvement was negligible, but I'd say that is purely down to me rather than the aiming system. I've never really got on with Halo multiplayer at all.

Out of interest, Odin are you using the curve Obsiv issued on the first page of this thread on your hip config?

Both mist and I like the new one much more than the old as it better models the actual velocity gap in the game. You can simulate the old with a curve pretty easily though. Simply take the default (linear) curve and spike to 100% at about half way through the curve.

Has this new release also force the RECON only option for Halo 5 config? I saw this got changed today and has messed with the key mappings versus the default key mapping for Halo 5.
