Whats the best SMG in the game?

This game is so well balanced that you'll be able to find fans for almost every weapon in this game.

That being said my favourite is the Razorback.

The razorback is decent for hardcore, but I just can't get any luck with it in core mode. It's time to kill is like 3 minutes lol

You'll find no shortage of people that will claim this as their favourite gun in Core too. As I said, there's no clear leader this time, which is music to my ears. You'll hear people saying every gun is good, you'll hear every gun is crap. The diversity is so good. Last year it was all about the ASM1.

You can scrub shotguns of the list tho.  The maps and inconsiency of the guns make them pretty shoddy.

U can get good games with them but id say that would be more down to bad enemies than anything else

@blues i run simple 1:1

They did a great job of balancing the game to weapon strengths.  Being I use the M8A7 I shouldn't win many CQC battles against a SMG and I don't.  Sure I'll win them here and there (normally it takes a headshot) but more times than not I lose.  Just the same, it goes in my favor at medium range and farther against a SMG. So it's my job to keep those close combat to a minimum.  This is what is great about this game IMO.

What I don't like is the specialist. ...  god like weapons which take minimal aim (sparrow) or just plain deception (psychosis). I bet half my deaths come from these dang things. ....lol.

I hate curves. Ruins aim mech IMO. Snake oil.

How is it snake oil?

Without it you have to push through the autoaim... not a 1-1 experience by any stretch of the imagination.

You only get 1-1 if you're aiming at NOTHING.
I prefer non-accelerated 1-1 movement. People go out of their way to use perfect sensored, non-accelerated software and mice - but by using curves you're essentially un-doing all of this ^^.  While your "fighting through aim assist" your destroying the 1-1 aim mechanic for whenever you aim. Dumb if you ask me. But, then again - why dont you guys use Dr Ballistic or Yeesh_dale's curves... By all means... they're known pros at COD - lol. Snake oil. Silly.

Trying 1-1 without curves. Had to turn my mouse speed way up though. Feels alright.

What about boost? I have a little for non-ads, but none for ads.

Personal Favorite all rounder - Kuda, surprisingly fairs well with suppressor
Close range - Vesper
Close-Mid - VMP
Sniping - Pharo

IMO the XIM allows 2 advantages over controllers -

1) being able to control faster move speed
-thats why I never understood low sensitivity players - your sorta giving up this advantage.

2) micro movement while aiming
-and this is why I never understood people using curves- because your killing your micro-movement with acceleration. Essentially giving up this advantage.

Because you don't lose any speed on low sensitivity , you can still hit the limit easily.

If you are on really high sensitivity you'll be exceeding the limit (black dot /red light/ whatever it is now) regularly and then you're not really playing 1:1 anyway.

High hip low ads is the best way to do it imo. High to me is like 12 @ 5k dpi tho
That "natural curve" you [roads] are talking about was me taking a wild guess what the game was doing (which was completely wrong of course).

😂😂😭

It takes longer to move your mouse 6 inches vs 1 inch = your loosing speed. The delay might be down to milliseconds - but most Ximmers would fight tooth and nail for a 4 ms advantage.. whether it be in a monitor, a pass through, or in the XIM itself. Why not here? Food for thought.

It doesn't matter how long it takes to move your hand any inches because either way you'll be moving at max look speed in game the whole time. the limiting factor is the game max sensitivity, not the speed at which you can move your body.

Yeah seriously. And I rather move my hand 6 inches to your inch lol. How do you even have consistent aim if you have to make such small movements? Especially when using curves, which I don't use.

I'm a low dpi low sensitivity player, always have been. Lol at the theory of losing speed because you move your mouse more inches. there is no speed advantage with body movement.

Btw it's you're* losing*

The XIM works 1:1 for me, I perceive no delay (unless the game hiccups or lags). My monitor is 1ms
