As the title states, I will be using this thread as a "How To Guide" for Advanced Settings with the XIM4. Please note that this is a place for General Info guides, not specific game guides. I will be adding and updating guides as changes occur and as time permits. I encourage everyone that would like to share their knowledge to add their informative post here. If you have questions or requests for a guide that may be helpful to you, please sound off. I will try to accommodate "reasonable" request within a "reasonable" amount of time. "Reasonable" being determined by yours truly (what? this is time consuming, FREE info people).

If you notice an error within my post's, please let me know so that I may correct it and avoid confusion with the community. My hope is that this can become a place where we can come together, share knowledge and build a little data base of information. This way it can be useful as a reference point, a link, for others down the road and we "I" don't have to regurgitate the same info over and over. Not only will this make life easier for those of us that wish to help the community. It will also make life ALOT easier for those that wish to learn from the community about Advanced Settings.

Thanks in advance for your help in making this a "GO TO" thread for all things "Advanced" with XIM4. If you're a complete Noob to XIM, please make sure you check out the links below and Pay Attention! If you don't come prepared and already have a grasp of basic operations, then this thread is not for you. I also encourage all new users to not automatically assume they have to use Advanced Settings. This is XIM, this isn't Titan or Tuact! You don't "Have to" setup and tweak everything to death like you do with some other products out there. XIM is GREAT without Advanced Settings for most games. This threads focus should be to appeal to Three core ideas.

1. Improve the experience of playing a game with a poor look mechanic, I.E. Destiny.
2. Improve the experience of playing a game that is vehicle oriented, I.E. Battlefield.
3. Allow the user to unleash their inner Anality and tweak every game to their hearts content (even when it's not really necessary!) - This is the definition of RML - :P

How to setup DSS2, mod mic and use your own headphones with PS4 and XB1! Please note that the Syba usb is not recommended without a usb extention. The Syba is a little fat and may interfere with plugging in your headphones. Thanks goes to Reznix for this one.

Very nice! Getting back to XIM/Xbox after an 8-month hiatus. I've always been on the noon end of the XIM spectrum so I'll be all checking out these vids before Gears of War is out next week!

This is excellent. I would also like to make a request for a video on LGS and setting up multi-key macros. I looked at your  IMGUR page and tried to replicate but had issues. Hopefully you can make one soon.

OBsIV doesn't take kindly to macro talk and XIM4. However, I do not share macro's that can reasonably be interpreted as cheats. I only use them to make the gameplay more fluid and fun. I have some time off next week and I'll try to show you guys how my Destiny setup works with LGS settings as an example.

When i click the three dots and get the drop down there is no copy and paste button available. im running the most current firmware and manager also. What gives? please help, id love to use the set up for destiny

Make sure you wipe the old firmware/manager from your device and clear the cache before upgrading. Then you'll probably have to do a factory reset when you do upgrade, depending on what Firmware/manager your currently running.
