XIM2 for Rocket League

Yeah hey there. I'm trying to use my old XIM2 to play rocket league on my pc but the sticks aren't working. I remember needing to run the old XIM360 software in order for them to work.

The plot twist here is that the first time I hooked it up and played the game, the sticks worked just fine without running any software at all. I'm confused?

I also tried playing Life is Strange with it plugged in and no dice. So yeah long story short I'd like to play some games on my pc with a controller but am too lazy and stubborn to go buy a new wired controller especially whenever I already have one.

Why would the analog sticks work just fine once or twice and then just stop working?  BTW all of the other buttons on the XIM2 work just fine. Thanks for reading

I take that back. Two other buttons that don't work along with the sticks are LT and RT.

It's been a really long time -- is everything calibrated?

Hey OB! Yeah it sure has been a while. I don't even think my son was born the last time I logged on and he'll be 1 soon!

I have not actually done any calibration. I need the old software for that correct?

Yes, you'll need the software to be running and analog inputs to be calibrated.

Still nothing. I've ran the calibration tool and my pc isn't recognizing the XIM2. I disabled driver signature enforcement as I remember needing to do that before but still nothing.

i also remember you need to open the config via notepad or editor and change analogsticks = true to have them working

Nice Odin, that's probably it. It would explain why it worked for him in one game and not another as well, one config probably has it enabled.

Yeah guys, I had actually already checked that. Still nothin'.

I feel like I've tried pretty much everything. Compatibility mode, disabled driver sig enforcement.. tried multiple usb ports... guess I'll just go buy a usb controller.
