alright guys, been a while since i've been here ;) got a xim4 but found my xim2 and fancy some xbox 360 again, having trouble getting the software to install correctly, though.
Win7 64bit Disable Driver Signature Enforcement - shrimpanzee posted this a few years ago, but the thread ended at a total stop. i believe the issue can be solved by installing older versions of the software, but they are nowhere to be found.
i have reinstalled numerous times, run as administrator.
i click 'install anyway' on the driver signature window, but as soon as that happens a balloon down the taskbar appears saying it didn't install correctly.

any help? :)

Latest Win7 doesn't allow unsigned 64-bit drivers -- and there is no way to disable it anymore as I understand. Perhaps there is a way around it but I'm not familiar with it.

Are you not able to use your XIM4 instead?

i didn't realise the xim4 worked with the 360!
does the xim2 controller qualify for use on the xim4? or will i need to buy an official wired controller
