G700, whats going on?
« on: 11:26 AM - 04/29/15 »
hey guys, been a while since last log in...so heres my problem..i have the 20131110 still and have played ghosts and gta5 within the last month or so..i always keep my mouse charged(wait for it) and therefore onboard mem. has been intact(ive been switching the mouse back and forth from xim to pc for a while and had no problems)...i noticed a while back that the logi. g700 software/interface w/e was updated and didnt think anything of it since my mouse was still acting fine when switched back to the xim....so last weekend i let somebody play(with the controller, thru the xim, they didnt even want to touch it) and my mouse was also not charging and i think i ran it soo dead i lost my onboard mem?...i went to play today and the new logi. g700 interface doesnt let me select aux or whatever it was to use all my mouse buttons...ive tried assigning num pad 1-9, and letters a-l(plus a few)...am i missing something here?

It sounds like the new LGS has had an effect on your mouse binds. You could try locating the old software and reverting back. Hopefully it didn't upgrade the mouse firmware, if it did then it might complicate things.

What's the issue and at what point does it fail? Maybe the G700 firmware was upgraded with the new software and it's prevented? Have you tried a second pc as a troubleshooting step?

i tried uninstalling via the logitech folder and nothing happens, so i downloaded a program that claimed it could remove logitech everything.....i kept my mice and keyboard unplugged from my laptop and deleted the whole logitech folder and anything i could find related to logitech...restarted and couldnt find anything about logitech setpoint or lgs...when i go to install setpoint 6.32 it say it detects a newer version and cancels the installation...

Try installing with your nic disabled or ethernet cable unplugged.
