hi , i am using 1000hz instead of 500hz in xim apex. Does this make any difference?
Using 1000hz because i just donot want to unplug and plug xim apex back eveytime i play another game.that's configured to use 1khz.

I know for a fact RML was utilizing 1000hz, Sync Off and some curves prior to taking an extended vacation. Sadly, he never shared his current settings in the forum before leaving. I know it is nowhere near what's in the OP though.

Hey guys, so I used this config (or its equivalent) at Destiny 2's launch on PC. It worked great, minus the turn speed issue. With the games move to Steam, I'm thinking of picking it up again and had a few questions.

First, has any progress been made to mitigate the turn speed since 2 years ago or is it about the same?
Second, I ran with a XIM 4 back then. Will the XIM Apex make any difference when it comes to D2 on PC?

I've been kicking around the idea of making a comeback to D2. I would also love a 1k hz config if there is one. I know you (RML) probably don't want to re-explain an new config but if you got one you can just paste I could figure it out

Timely; I'm considering a return to D2.  Have some very old settings still saved, but would be good to see what your latest configs are like in comparison.

I don't know about you lads, but plain vanilla XB1 ST on PS4 with Sync Default feels pretty darn good in D2 at the moment.

I set it up to test D2 on PC after I had a terrible time in Iron Banner on PS4 using my old highly-tweaked ST. The new one played really well, which I put down to different mechanics on PC, but I gave it a bash on PS4 and immediately deleted my old config.

I have had a lot of success with the vanilla Xbox ST as well, default sync and 3200 dpi.

Yeah, it felt pretty good to me too last time I went back to it, at first. After a few sessions though I always start working on faster movement, less AA, etc.

Typically what happens is I'll jump over from BF or COD. Then Destiny makes me feel sad until I tweak it to feel more like those other games.

That would be much appreciated!  It is kind of sad to go back to 30 fps and slow turn speed after playing cod but I'm sure I'll get used to it again. There are a lot of great things about D2 PVP.

Think you could just let us know what sync you were using (default, off or common)? I'll try to figure out from there. If can't get to it before you head out of town I understand!
