Actually I know exactly what you mean and 4 does come very close to that line if not breaks it on Ads.

Which is why I use 3  ;)

But I’m still testing too.

OK, so it's a hard no from me on using curve 4 for ADS. Exactly what we were talking about earlier.. shots don't land despite the crosshairs being firmly planted between the eyes of another player. Just inconsistent. Switched back to curve 3 and the difference was night and day. I can also say that curve 3 is far better than your previous aim assist curves (which were already great). So for me, it's 4 hip and sprint and 3 ADS. Sterling work RML!

On a side note, I've often wondered if some of the perks on armour can work against the AAA curves on Xim.. for example, Enhanced Hand Cannon Targeting, Target Adjuster mods, even high aim assist weapons...

I wonder if removing as much aim assist from a weapon as possible which actually aid the AAA curves or whether they work in a different way altogether. I might try a few matches with and without target acquisition mods and see if there's a noticeable difference. What do you think? Could they work against one another?

Been using #4 on hip/ads since you posted it in the apex thread, The hip feels amazing once I got the sens right. I get a very small amount of AA but it's definitely noticable. Im using off sync and 500hz too

Which curve are you using for ADS?

I'm still using 4 and 3 as well. As for weapons, armour, etc. Yeah I always run with the lesser AA weapons and avoid added AA at all costs. I just try to keep as consistent feel as I can.

Is this what's Coors does to you ? Those curves seems like they were made while you were drunk. LOL. JK.
Very interesting curves. Was looking at going back to Destiny and saw this thread got bumped so I decided to check it out. Those curves look hella different from the old D2 curves. Did they change the look mechanics or something?
Definitely will test them out once I can get my XIM and PS4 to play nice. As always great job!

I may have had a few...

I look forward to your feedback. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. This is quite a leap forward, it's by far the best Destiny has ever felt for me personally!

Cheers!  ;)

Hello sir,

You on default sync? 500hz? Any boost? Any smoothing? 12kdpi? Sensitivity?

I will test but want to keep my settings close to yours so that i can give you feedback that's relative to what you are experiencing.

Currently:
12000 dpi
1000hz
Sync Off
HIP - 84 + C4
ADS - 56 + Y/X 1.25 + C3
Sprint - 200 + C4

Also want to test other settings for micro movements with these curves. Default Sync, 500hz. etc. Just not the time right now.

Oh that's interesting.. I'm sync Default. I wonder what sort of difference that will make switching to Off.... hmmmm.

Default actually is ideal for micro movements. If AA feels good, then I'd stick to it. But yeah, give sync off a try and see what you think.

Currently matchmaking!

Will update this post with my findings. I LOVE C4 and C3 with Default sync so am intrigued to see how this plays.

Update: Ok well, it's zippier with off sync! Aim feels a bit more weightless in comparison to default sync, but the curves still work a treat. I need to play three or four games to get to grips with it before making a decision on Off or Default. Off feels twitchier to me, does that sound right?

Update after two matches: It's really hard to put my finger on it, but it feels everrrrr so slightly off compared to Default sync. Almost like I'm having to work harder to land the crosshair on the head of the opponent (I'm primarily a hand cannon user and don't snipe). It's like I overshoot their domes too easily, if that makes sense. It's a bit like what we were talking about earlier, just feels like it treads that AA line a little too closely for my liking. Going to do one more game and if no change I'll switch back to Default sync.

Thanks Chris, I'm actually rooting for Default Sync as it is smoother and micro's are spot on. Ideally, I create a curve that allows us to play better on Default then Off. It's that Sync off crispness that I'm shooting for. These curves really help!

You also might want to try C1 on ADS with Sync off.. Lol  :)

Will do that now. I just immediately went back to Default Sync with Curve 4 Hip and Sprint and Curve 3 ADS and that is most definitely the one. It's just beautiful. I can't thank you enough, it's the best this game has ever felt (and I've used Xim since Destiny 1).

My personal take only, but I recommend everyone use Default Sync, Curve 4 with Hip and Sprint and Curve 3 with ADS. My sensitivity settings are: Hip 10 (Boost 500), ADS 6.25 (with Y/X 1.25) and Sprint 21.50. 12k DPI and 1000hz polling. It's magical.

I found the hip felt sluggish on default, some boost might just do the trick though. Im really liking #5 on hip and #3 on ads so far though

Thanks for sharing chris. Have just finished an evening of comp and can say i prefer sync off to sync default. I orefer less aim assist.

Really enjoyed this from rml

Currently:
12000 dpi
1000hz
Sync Off
HIP - 84 + C4
ADS - 56 + Y/X 1.25 + C3
Sprint - 200 + C4
Sparrow - 200 + C4

I use nav, my tip would be dont forget to strafe left and right to proc aim assist. I find left stick movement as important as mouse and conciously remind myself to adjusy using the left stick.

As for the new curves, they definately cut through AA very well and removing boost provides a more stable and predictable experience.

Thanks
