So I have been playing around with this XIM4 since I got it a few weeks back and trying to get it configured right with Destiny and still having all kinds of issues with mouse movement speed.
It's taking me multiple scrolls across my mouse pad to make a single rotation, anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? I copied and pasted the config from this thread and the figures look the same but obv I'm missing something.
I am using a Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum and G13 for my keyboard, I'm on X1.
any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Probably already did this, but make sure your in-game look sensitivity is set to max (10).

Hey mate,

I have copied your set up except i have removed the steady aim feature as i have been advised it is not recommended for Destiny.

Do you feel your last word is a little off? I feel i miss shots i normally should not. Not sure if ballistic curves have anything to do with this.

Thanks.

Curves come down to personal preference. Your ads curve might be too aggressive. I would start with no curve and see how it feels. Also check out this thread for more curves to try:

When you say miss shots..?

I find with Last Word there are times (rare) where I'll be perfect distance, ADS, and enemies take no damage. I figure that's an intended variance within the guns own statistics in terms of its ability to hit where you aim.

It's frustrating for sure.

Whereas the Lord High Fixer (I think it's called that) never misses a shot.

Scroll all the way down. You'll see a arrow pointing down. That s the paste function.

My Mouse sensitivity is set to 300. I have no idea how you would turn faster than a snails pace with 25. I do have in game sensitivity at 100 btw.

Anything over 100 Xim sensitivity loses fidelity due to interpolation.

This isn't PC gaming where you can get away with 800 DPI. Maximise your mouse DPI for Xim to get closest to the raw input from its sensor.

I do notice a big different between 300 and 100. 300 is much better IMO. As for DPI mine is set at 12,000 which is max on the Logitech g502.

I'm open to suggestions but in 6 months of playing with settings frequently this is what I've concluded.

Are you seriously using 300 as the Xim sensitivity? That won't make any difference beyond the turn-speed limit, which should kick in at around 15-20 @ 12K DPI, other than destroying the Xim's mouse translation.

Ideally, you don't want the Xim's red-light flashing except for flick movements, which don't really work on console. Dial it down and the red-light should stop at around 7-20, depending on HIP or ADS.

Make sure you're using the on-board profile of your mouse to store the DPI because 300 sensitivity is seriously wrong.

hello and ty for the great work and passion u spent in this thread.
i bought xim for overwatch and destiny and after a long break on this last game, which i was playing with playstation4 pad, i choosed to give it another shot with the new dlc release.but also have loooooots of doubts and im totally noob about xim configuration so i have some questions.
1 in the first page there r lots of configs to copy and paste but i really dont understand which is the one to copy, all ? or what ? there is a final version to copy which works better than the previous ? and if i have to copy more than one like for hip, ads etc etc do i have to switch them by pressing a button or the xim recognize the configuration by itself according to what happens in game ?
im totally honest i didnt read all 49 pages of the thread could u make it easier for the biggest noob of the forum ? what do i have to copy and paste and how does it works in game exactly ?
a big big thank you

Finally ordered a nav after using a KB for a year. Despite tons of practice I was getting tired of always missing jumps or accidentally backing into corners.  I dunno if the move controller will fix that but its worth a shot lol.

I've been away for a little while. I'm going to do a MAJOR makeover of the Original post very soon. I have a completely different (more ANAL then ever) setup now. :)
