Destiny 2: Advanced “Apex” Setup (01.01.23)

Hey so I just got my XIM4 today and I really want the setup for Destiny to be as simple as possible. When I pasted your codes for each sub, the ballistics were all way off compared to what you've shown in the pictures. I feel like I read over everything but I'm sure I definitely missed something. I'd love to get setup and on the right track and nice guide btw!

What firmware/manager are you using? He has his setup based on 20151120 build. Not sure, but it might work the current beta builds

^ I actually used 8000 dpi when creating my Destiny setup, so that should be your reference point.

Thanks for clarifying.  I've actually been running 8200 dpi per another poster's advice in a sniping setup thread. The aiming feels smoother & less jittery to me than it does at 4000 dpi.

Are using RMLs sensitivity with 8200dpi?

yeah. Not exactly but pretty close. Also been going back and forth on whether or not I prefer a ballistics curve for ADS.

I haven't updated my xim4 since may 2015 and I just got started sniping again in destiny and I can not land any hits like I was able to. Maybe I suck now or its xim? idk

They ( Bungie) have changed things with snipers. Read the patch notes for all they did. It does take a bit of getting used to, drag and quick scope have become a tad harder to do.

It's funny you mentioned this. I'm on the same boat, sniping felt better for me before updating the XIM. Now it's more challenging in the latest RC. Is there a way to go back to previous firmwares?

Well man you can downgrade FW the same way you upgrade it. Just grab previous FW - flash and install it on your xim. I did the same.

There were changes inside the game with snipers, but there were also changes in xim. Latest FWs have STv2 and older ones are STv1 - aka Smart Translator version 1. I like STv1 better for sniping, so i downgraded. Although with newest FWs overall movement is much better=crispier.

Alright thanks for the info. What firmware are you at? I don't remember which firmware I was at before I updated the xim4. Is there a link to all the previous firmwares @ Mist, @OBSIV ?
