I have got a question....

I use a G13 and G502 with Xim. How do I setup the G502 macros to trigger the G13 keys ? When I Want to use the sparrow I need to press G13 key on the G13 gamepad, I want to make like for example a Delay so I don't have to press the Key by myself the whole time until the sparrow is there.

^ You can't unless the G13 has onboard memory.

It has, not sure how it works tho... I saved a profile on the onboard memory once and connected to xim, nothing was there anymore :D

Yes the G13 has onboard memory but, I believe that most settings are not saved when disconnected from a PC

Another shadestep question, does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve the following...

I want to trigger shadestep with a double click of w,a,s,d. If you played UT then you likely know why I want to do this. It's just an easy way to trigger shadestep in the direction of my choice.

Afaik, it's only possible to add one secondary button so I could only add O to one of w,a,s,d. The other issue if I do that and start to strafe ill just crouch.

I'm not holding out any hopes on this but thought I'd ask the question anyway...

Great post. It's rare that people follow up and update.

Would your settings work with a PS4, XIM4, Razer Naga Expert and Razer Black Widow Tournament Edition Chroma?

RML's curves will work with any setup. You will have to adjust your keybinds and XIM sensitivity based on your mouse/dpi of course.

Huge thank you to RML. I just got my Xim4 yesterday and tried using the pre-loaded config. I was frustrated because something felt a little off. I loaded the suggested settings RML posted here and the next Clash match I played I went 24-3. First time I've ever dominated like that in Destiny Crucible. I proceeded to make shots and play better than I ever have before. Destiny is one of my favorite games of all time, now I love it even more being able to use my mouse and keyboard. Thank you RML, and thank you Xim team!

Hello ... this is Frasier from Germany. I got my XIM just 2 days ago and it was a god sent that I found this thread. My special thanks goes to RML. Without your postings I would still be stuck in my very first setup steps and had no idea how to make this thing work! After just 2 days and a few hours in this thread I have at least an understanding of how things come together ... configure my mouse with LGS and map it in the XIM-manager. But I still have some questions left since I am using a keyboard and mounse setup and have to make some adjustments to your configs. One thing I did not figure out by reading this thread is the following: there are several configs for different scenarios, like "hip", "ads", "sparrow", "running", etc. To activate these configs - as I understand it - you have to asign a button to each config and press it while playing. Since I can not asign a button for the standard config (hip), how I do get back to this after I choose lets say ADS by pressing the asigned button??? I could press still another button to go to "sparrow", but I have no idea how to get back to "hip"? Everything else I figured out and while I still have to find the best key layout for my needs (where to put the "super" or my "melee"-attack, your setup is a great starting point and enabled me to start playing with keyboard and mouse, which I have never done before  ;) So I would really appreciate, if you can find the time and answer my question in the near future. Thanks again for your great support. Sending a big HELLO from Germany  :) Best, Frasier

@Fraser on those additional configs there should be a toggle/press option when you set it up. Choose an option to your preference.

Hey Frasier0303, Welcome to the community!

You have tow options when activating sub configs, such as ADS, Sparrow, etc. You have "Hold and Toggle" behaviors. If you're using Hold, then it simply reverts back to hip when you release the button. If you're using toggle then you'll need to press the button once to activate the sub config, then press it again to de-activate the sub config and put you back to hip. There are also the config de-activation keys you can use while using toggle mode. These allow you to de-activate a subconfig for things like Reloading, jumping, firing, etc.

All the time and effort spent on this, making it worthy of going into a guide book that you would pay for, definitely warrants a sticky.

Not to mention it's one of the most viewed, and I imagine one of the most used, topics on these forums.

Has helped me a ton and I think you for your clear descriptions and detail.  Bravo!

Thanks again!
