@RML do you have any specific setup for Shadestepping? For me having to reach for LCTRL while hitting WASD is really hard.

quick question rml i dont use angle snapping for FPS do you think it feels better with Destiny aim assist? i've been using your setup but i switch to HIP transalator for my ADS because it helps sniping i wonder if angle snappin makes it better or worst..

Honestly, IDK! I always use AS, I can say others have mentioned that AS does help with AA in BO3.

Hi RML

Can you please help me with a sniper curve , that's all I use TLW+sniper.  The problem I'm facing is I'm missing shots so close to the head. Thank you

I'll look around and see if I still have my old settings somewhere. The real problem though is almost every sniper rifle has different aim assist, which gun are you using?

Thank you for replying
I'm using the 1000 yard stare

Sry man, I must have lost all that stuff over one of the manager upgrades.  :(

I answered this a few post back for another member. You should PM him and see if he can help you with the appropriate delay settings.

I'm not understanding how to setup the sprint config.  My turning is super slow when sprinting  - looking into how to remedy that. Thanks!

RML,

Brand new XIM user here. Just got mine yesterday. I am 95% a PC gamer but have been interested in Destiny for a while so the XIM seemed like a good idea. I have been following this thread since Christmas so that I would be ready to get my XIM setup when it arrived.

While I have to learn to use slower movements than on the PC, these curves feel very good. I tried the base Destiny setup first so I would have something to compare and RML's curves feel very solid.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write the original guide and for continuing to answer questions in the thread.

You rock RML!

So I've been using a xim for years but not once have i tried curves/codes etc... basically because i have absolutely no idea how... In reading this post i see a "sprint tab", all i know how to do is make the tab and name it.. Am i supposed to put some code somewhere to make it work? sorry i'm just very confused.

I'm a flatout sniper using either 1000 yard or Her Benevolence, I want to be able to turn fast suddenly and or while sprinting, and I would like to try the curve/ other curves for sniping.
Any chance someone could give me steps on how and where i'm putting the code etc?
I also can't see anywhere where it has the "Turn Assist" and "steady aim" options are like shown in the pics..?

^ The easiest way to do it is to just copy/paste my entire setup and then tweak it to your liking. You can learn how to do this by visiting the "Advanced Settings" link in my signature. However, it sounds like you're not running compatible Firmware/manager to use my setup. You'll have to upgrade to the latest drop in the release candidate section. Beware though, if you upgrade you'll probably lose all your settings and configs. and have to start from scratch.

RML not sure if you have macros on your mouse, but I use a Logitech G600 and I'm able to use on board memory to save my DPI and keybinds, but there's no way to save macros. Do i need a different mouse?

Can someone explain how to setup the multikey function on the mouse in LGS? For K1, heavy weapon, which button press does that correspond to? Like the 1 button sparrow config, I've set up the macro as shown in the video, but confused as I don't think my buttons correspond properly. Am I supposed to plug in the Nav or Keyboard I'm using to my pc and press those buttons that I have mapped?

Just pick the button on the mouse you want to assign the macro and then set your macro to whatever Keystroke you want, I used "0" I believe in the video. Add a 1.8ms delay between down and up and your done with LGS.

Now go to Secondary buttons in manager and assign keystroke 0 to Y. Yes you will have to have a KB plugged in to do this in manager. However, after that you can disconnect the KB if you want. It doesn't have to be plugged in all the time for it to work.

Hope that helps.

If your mouse doesn't have onboard memory then macros won't work with XIM4 and console, only PC. Are you sure your mouse doesn't have onboard memory though? I find that hard to believe considering most of there line up uses the same software.

Ok, I think I understand. Last question. What is the delay for going into orbit? Mainly if you have a fireteam as it is longer than when you are solo.

Man o man...

I just got my XIM4 like 2 weeks ago. My main game is Destiny and then i found your thread. I must say thanks! Your config was rock solid, curves? perfect!

The only thing I had to adjust is the turning speed for everything but apart from that these are @#$% fine!

THanks man!
