I figured it out.

I was looking for a text box to paste the code...

1. Copy the code in its entirety.
2. Click the edit button on the top left of manager.
3. Click the " . . . " button on the right.
4. Click the box with an arrow pointing down to "paste" code.

I'm enjoying my XIM4 now, I've changed a few things like sensitivity etc.

Thanks for this write up, would be lost without it!

I'm glad it helped you. I've been wanting to get back and play some Destiny (been feeling the urge). But crap, I have barely touched Halo 5, Battlefront and Fallout 4!

UGH ....

Hey I copied the setup,  tweaked to my liking. All my buttons are set. Only problem is that I'm hitting the turn cap very very fast.  I'm using a razer death adder 3500 dpi. Is this mouse considered no good? On cod, and battlefront this mouse feels amazing. destiny, however, it just feels so sticky and sluggish. My Xim flashes RED everytime I'm trying to mouse around.  Hip, ads, and sprinting. Sprinting is basically unusable right now.  Do you guys think it's my mouse?

NY sensitivity is 56. Ads is 30

Is your game sensitivity maxed out? I run 8500 dpi and the setup is awesome

It could be in game settings or it could be that your mouse at 3500 doesn't feel as fluid. I have a Deathadder 2013 which was 6400 which was very usable but i wanted to try the G502. When i tried it i was surprised at the difference between the two mice. The nice thing about it was that it felt smoother and it also allowed me to have more button options on the mouse which i have really learned to love now. The first couple of games were difficult but i really love it now. If you aren't in the market for a new mouse just crank up the XIM sensitivity and hopefully that works out for you.

Yea, it could just be the mouse. But my in game sensitivity is of course maxed. (10) .  So when I increase the XIM sensitivity. All that does it make it easier to hit the flashing red lights turn cap. I don't know if it's completely and totally different from Call of Duty, because I barely ever hit the turn cap on Cod. Maybe destiny is just such a poorly designed aiming mechanics.  But then again, people are saying their setups are "awesome"  so it's probably just this mouse. My brother has a Logitech g500. That's only 5700 or something like that. Would like something with 8000 or more. Preferably the Steelseries Sensei.

What mouse are you running?  And the sensitivity on your Xim? And do you ever hit the turn cap? ( red flashing lights)

Hello Torderro,

First and foremost, if you're switching back and forth from games like COD and BF, then Destiny will feel funky to you. The turn speed cap is not as high for sure. As far as the red light goes, with this game there's no getting around it, you're going to red light! The key is to raise your sens as high as you can without feeling like you're wasting movement. 3700 dpi should be plenty you'll just have to turn your sens up higher then what I was using at 8000.

About Sprint, are you using the "Hold" feature I included to activate the Sprint sub config? You need a sub config with a higher sens that can be activated while running. I included it in the setup but you may not be utilizing it or using it correctly.

Hey OP! Thanks for the information. I feel a lot better about the red light thing. Makes me feel like I'm not the only one, or it isn't my mouse. So yeah, I was your exact setup. Holding down sprint to gain the extra needed sensitivity.  It's just that the red light was very off putting and felt like I was doing something completely wrong. I guess I'll keep raising the sensitivity until it feels better?

^ Yeah that red light is actually telling you that you don't need anymore DPI, you're already exceeding the Turn Speed limit. Like I said though, the key is to ride that light and don't over do it or you'll be wasting movement. As long as your mouse movement feels good to you with what you're registering on the screen you'll be fine. Learn to pace your movement, with this game sometimes slower ='s more! Twitch movements won't work well and will mess with your aim because they won't register like it would on PC or with games like COD.

Cannot thank OP enough (and this is kinda off topic) but when you use your phone and download the latest game settings (or what ever it does) does that also update the firmware or are you only updating firmware when you plug your xim into the computer and do it manually?

Cheers!

I'm really knew to xim and was wondering g if I could get some help with making a few things easier for game play like how to maneuver the sparrow easier using a mouse and keyboard. I apologize if there are tons of threads with this data mixed in.

It's all in the original post man, just got to read through it. Copy my entire config (there's a link in the OP on how to do that too) then just learn how to setup the buttons to your liking and so that they also work with sub configs as well. You can figure that out by checking all my activation keys for different configs, including ADS and then modify them to suit your needs.

I attempted that but I think I overwhelmed my self. I'll have to give it another shot.
