Holy crap guys, this thread is like the energizer bunny!

Sry, I haven't been around much lately. I'll try to catch up here a little, glad to see people are still benefitting from this setup.

First of all, Loki, that Nav is SICK Lol ... nice job. I mean sure it's not super pleasing to the eyes, but it's comfort and playability that matters right? I keep waiting for the next "NAV" to come out, not sure what it will be or when but we really need something new and fresh for a wand.
Just one question. I would love to use the thumbstick from PS4 on my XBOX one. Is that possible through the Xim 4? I would hate to spend the money and find out it won't work.
The only way to achieve this is by using the PS4 controller in slot 2 in place of a keyboard etc. Not ideal, but you can do it. You can also remap controller buttons when using two controllers in this manner.
Hello all,
I'm new to the community here and was wondering if anyone else is also using a mouse + keyboard setup and doesn't have a mouse / keyboard that internally can store macros.
Has anyone got a recommendation for me on this concern?
No on board memory is why I stay away from Razer mice unfortunately. I don't believe you can activate sparrow, go to orbit or heavy weapon with a single button press without macros. The reason is, they all have a bit of a delay value to them.
I hope this isn't a stupid question but why the 8000 dpi?
You have the Logitech G502 that goes up to 12k dpi, I thought with the Xim you wanted your dpi as high as it can go.
At the time when the quote was made by OBsIV to run at your highest DPI, the highest out there was around 5700. Mice have really been focusing on raising this value since then and it's literally getting ridiculous TBH.
At the end of the day, what really matters is what YOU prefer. I prefer a minimum of 4000 and a max of 8000. When I play above 8000 it gets too sensitive for me and causes a feeling of jitters. Your mouse pad also has a lot to do with this. Soft pads generally feel less responsive then hard pads, IMO.
I ended up just using all the curves individually as i use a KB/M.
Though, a strange problem has occurred. In the bindings I select crouch as the C key on the KB but it doesn't work, when I map the C key to the highlight character selection, it then crouches.
Any idea why this may happen?
Cheers.
The only reason that shouldn't work is if C was being used for something else already that was cancelling it out or something.
Was hoping for some help. I can't seem to get my y axis look to be fast enough. I have hunters blink jump over me and by the time I can turn I'm dead.
It doesn't seem like the y axis is -that- slow with a controller. I've tried adjusting the hip sensitivity but haven't had any success, and really, I don't want the x axis to be much faster anyways.
Any thoughts?
Did you try changing your Y,X ratio? It starts out at 1. Try raising it in small increments until you like it. I.E. 1.10, 1.20, 1.30, etc.
Here's the other thing that is really annoying... I seem to just get absolutely dominated at close in shotgun play. Screen doesn't scroll fast enough, gun seems to jump.. I don't know. It's great at medium range / pulse rifle play.
Yes, that is the IN GAME aim assist messing with your aim. This is where practically every game struggles with XIM. It's no fault of XIM it's just the way look mechanics are created to help controller users. Generally the closer you are to your target and the faster they are moving the more aim assist kicks in. You have to try to find your happy medium to combat this. It's a BIG part of the reason I use an acceleration curve with ADS, it helps push through this. There's really two ways to combat this. 1 - A more aggressive curve or 2 - higher sensitivity. I set this up with the idea of being close to target before ADS so minimal movement is needed after adsing. Shotgun I rarely ADS with, I almost always shoot from the HIP as there is no penalty (bullet spread, etc.) or atleast there wasn't the last time I played. You shouldn't feel very much aim assist when shooting from the hip.
RML I've been using your setup with some tweaks for sometime and they are great. Now that I'm getting more into sniping I'm having some issues. In the heat of battle, especially ToO, I swipe to quickly or over accelerate which causes a couple things:
1. Arced reticle path instead of nice straight line
2. "Flashing Lights" or gone beyond max turn speed. (I know of destiny's for design after following mist, you and others post)
Your normal ADS curve is great for me in all things but sniping. So in the last couple of days I've setup another config for sniping starting with your ADS and tweaking:
1. I can adjust the Y/X ratio to get a flatter reticle path but then of course it feels to slow especially when trying to track a Jumping player. So that's not working.
2. Lowering the sensitivity doesn't work b/c I'm to slow to get on target
3. I've taken your ADS and flat lined the curve at about 50 to limit the speed which is the best I've come up with.
So at a loss I'm and hoping you can come up with a curve to help me. This is no fault of anyone's but mine by not limiting my scoped swipe speed. But maybe you can suggest a curve?
Not at home yet but will post curves when home.
Running G502
DPI - 12k @ 1k polling.
ADS Mouse Sense at 5
Snipe Config Sense at 5
After using your sens/dpi/pollrate I've found these settings feel more fluid.
Thanks for any suggestions and I'll append when I'm home.

Ahh yes, LOL ... Sniping! I actually had a sniping setup added to my OP when I first created this. I removed it because it was creating too much confusion. Basically I made another sub config and lowered the sensitivity for long range sniping. I think I even had a video showing the benefits at long range. Yeah, that was fun.

Thanks for sharing your ideas!
