Just a heads up man, I hadn't played Destiny in awhile and I rushed this a little. My ANALITY kicked in last night and I've improved my setup quite a bit. I will be updating this setup either tonight or tmw. I think people will really enjoy some things I've simplified and done with this.

Interesting...how is this different than the one in the Library?  I have no complaints about stock/curves I was using but wondering if something could be done to enhance my experience.  The thing that I ignore that apparently I've been told has negative effects is the Max turn speed indicator.  As soon as I move my mouse the warning is initiated. LOL.  That's even moving my mouse slowly.  I can't think of my sensitivity off the top of my head but I think it's more.  I'll have to find out and see what the differences are.

Looking forward to your tweaks.  The one that got me scratching my head is how you have your left and right buttons on the mouse for looking L/R and have the snipe button for shooting.  I just can't get pass the thought of even trying that. It'll just feel so awkward. LOL.

Ha,ha ... yeah it's really difficult for a Nav user to find a way of utilizing right stick potential. It would be really nice to have Turn Assist back. That would simplify things quite a bit! Which buttons you use are of course up to you. I have actually changed that layout a little as well. I will post my entire button layout and crap when I get time and try to explain my craziness. It's really just all about helping newer members understand all the tools, how to use them and get people thinking and sharing ideas.

I registered this account to say thank you.  Youre setup has gotten me multiple 3-5+ kdrs in iron banner today against premades sometimes.


I dropped my dpi to 8000, polling to 1000 on my g502 and just flat out copied your setup. We myst be using a similar mousepad because it works perfect for me.

I have been lost and so frustrated with destiny and the xim(xim is great but it was terrible out the box with destiny unlike cod) i was about to shelf it until i found this

Thanks alot, I'm a ximer for many years now and never took a look to ballistic curves, seemed to be difficult to understand, but now it's more clear. I'm gonna try yours for Destiny and Hardline and see what happens I've learned a lot.

Just a question, how do you launch the super with ONE button ? Is it thanks to bind your mouse with macro ?

And I was totally in fog concerning sub-configs, and thanks to you I think I understood how it works and possibilities you get with.

I appreciate the fact that you registered just to acknowledge my post. I put a lot of effort into writing this up, it's nice to know it helped you. That's why I did it man (well everything except the little button pics, that was my daughter lol ... she had a blast though). I remember my struggles coming into XIM, I'm always happy to help a fellow Ximmer out.

- Concerning One button SUPER -
XIM manager > Destiny Config > HIP > Buttons > Secondary buttons


Then just assign LB and RB to the same button.



Now, guess what Gents? My Anality just got a little more ANAL Lol...
I got tired of holding down Y to go to Orbit and for switching to the Heavy weapon so I modified my setup a little 

I really wasn't utilizing Long Range Snipe for this game very much so I removed it and added the Heavy weapon and Orbit buttons. I also was getting a little frustrated with using the MB (scroll button) for SUPER because I was inadvertently bumping right or left scroll once in a while (PANIC MOMENTS, haha) which would put me in Vehicle config. UGH... So I switched up the button layout a little bit and TBH I like it ALOT better now. I already updated the Button codes to match the layouts pictured. So just copy/paste if you're interested.

Thanks RML it's clear now, I never thought to bind two pad buttons with the same mouse/keyboard button, it's very useful. And yep I noticed you have updated your config. True is that long range never happens in this game, in this way you're even more effective and your super button is also more controlled by binding like that, nice job ! I'm gonna make a SUPER button and a config for vehicules, so impatient to be at home.

Lol ... Destiny's a nice change of pace. My problem is, if there's a way to improve my gaming experience I'm going to do it. That's what brought me to XIM in the first place. I'm pretty anal about everything in life that way TBH. I'm my own worst enemy sometimes, no doubt!

As far as work goes, I've done the majority of that for you guys. I would think this setup could be mimicked in less then 30mins. just a lot of Copy/Paste and a little tweaking if you use a different mouse.

XIM has made console gaming enjoyable for me. I honestly wouldn't be gaming if it weren't for XIM. So, I have no qualms about sharing my knowledge and excitement about their product. Anything I can do to help XIM or XIM members is always a pleasure and, in a way, it's my way of giving back and saying Thank You!
