I have read most of this thread and cannot find the solution to my problem.  I use a keyboard and mouse and cannot seem to get the running turn speed to speed up.  I have tried the x,y adjustments and things that I doubt would affect that (boost, hip and ads sensitivity) and nothing works.

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated it.

Other than that, everything thing else works great and very much appreciate your efforts and sharing this with us!

any updates on curves? i love your setup and good job taking the time to share settings..ive been trying to find a curve thats good between sniping and primaries. im having a hard time adjusting snipin sometimes im good but if i strafe hard scope i miss sometimes

I just switched to the regular linear curve with higher sensitive and have noticed it is MUCH easier to get those headshots compared the RML's ADS curve, but it's harder to track people and push through that auto aim when using other weapons.... We need a good curve that gives us the best of both worlds ideally but sadly I am a complete simpleton when It comes to these ballistic curves...
I agree with you the aim assist is bad i like curves but sometimes it adds too much acceleration and trows me off.  Kinda hard keeping it balance betweeb hip and ads the transition between both and the Feel of aim assist using different load outs.  Im going to work on a new curve this week ill see if i can come up with something nice to balanced both

Let me know if you find something that works, right now I am getting used to the linear curve for the ADS and having more success sniping with it.

I'm a newb but i'm trying to figure out how to set this up for my Destiny profile. I don't even know where you paste that first code posted, also when I paste the code for the HIP ballistics it shows like 88.0 under the ballistics and the wavy line curve is all over the @#$% place and looks nothing like yours.

Hi,
Awesome article.
Thank you for writing it.
I have one question though.
I am using a Samsung tablet and have always put in my configurations through it.
When I try to cut and paste your configuration and I hit the edit button I don't have the option for cut and paste appear.
Is there something I need to download or do I need to do it on a laptop?
Thank you

Touch and hold the text field then select one of the following (located in the upper right). Select all. Cut. Copy.
Touch and hold the target text field then select Paste.

Awesome job OP, this instantly felt better. Using a 700s and even your sensitivities felt bang on. Well done pal. Is this a subjective config? Just makes me wonder why the actual ST doesn't already have these settings?

I just had to thank you, RML, for taking the time to put this guide together for new people to get their XIM4's set up fresh out the box with utter ease! This guide also taught me a lot more about the XIM4 before I even owned it! I felt I knew where to go and what to do the second my unit arrived.

Always appreciate people going above and beyond on the internet, like this, to make transitions simple for everyone.

I appreciate your kind words, I'm glad it helped you. :)

Try this curve, I made it for BO3 to combat Aim Assist. I'm not sure how it will work with Destiny, but the concept is the same. For Sniping I would use a Low Sens config with this curve. For all other weapons I would go Medium to High Sens.

20150816 Manager ;)

Code: [Select]
>>> XIM4 [Mouse Ballistics] START PASTE >>>
X4MB:AAAAGgA0AC4AMAAwAC4AMgAwADEANQAwADgAMQA2ABgxSWJveICHjpWcpKuyucDIyMjI:X4MB
<<< XIM4 END PASTE <<<

Watch the video in the OP on hoe to paste an entire setup and make sure you're on the 20150816 Manager and Firmware.

Hi RML, in regards to your tutotial here http://imgur.com/a/VfKnj I see the reasoning behind having to create a one button press macro for sparrow mounting and going to orbit due to having to press a sequence of keys including delays, however I do not see the point of having a macro for heavy weapon. I just hold down the key which has been assigned to bring up heavy weapon. Is there a reason for creating a macro?

Lol ... this was because I use the Thumb button on the G502 for 'Y'. That button isn't in an ideal place for me because of my semi-claw style grip. A couple of times I struggled with it during PvP and it cost me my life. I can't be having any of that, so .. hence the macro. Now I can quickly just tap the button and not alter my grip as much.

I don't use a KB, so my buttons are limited.  ;)

I am against aim assist but have been thinking lately (for sniping) it would be better to run an ambush scope rather than a shortgaze as shortgaze adds +30 AA and ambush runs -10 aa.

Does anyone else run ambush for this reason?

Cheers

it seems like aa affects ranged accuracy as well :'(
so from what I've gathered the best scopes have strong aa.
