Is there a way to copy the exact shapes on the advanced ads?

I don't even know how to explain this.

Do you guys know why my xim manager buttons do not match the buttons i bind on my mouse? For example in xim manager i see field=fire and i bind it to LMB as usual and when in game i push LMB it goes for example male or granades. I have tried to change in game buttons layout but there is no layout that matches 100% to the layout of xim manager. Also i have noticed that i do not have in my xim manager field called "turn assist" "toogle" which RML has... and shown in this post.
Also on my G502 i cannot bind in xim manager buttons like K1,2,3,6 when manager is listening and i push them nothing happens. I used both managers on my pc and androind phone and on both there is the same problem i can bing rest of the keys but not the ones i mentioned.

update1: i have figured out why my buttons do not match. I swapped using a square button L1 R1 with L2 R2. Now is ok.
But still do not know why  cannot map some buttons from g502 :( like xim do not recognize them. Any ideas? And what is that misterious filed "turn assist"...

you'll have to use LGS for your mouse and assign keyboard strokes to the buttons on the mouse ( in the drop down menu for each button you want to reassign) . Then you can bind them in Xim manager. Turn assist is a recent addition that's in the newer release candidates. It helps with certain things like turrets, helo, etc that was hard to turn

When I paste the ballistic curves they don't show the shape as displayed in the pictures by OP.

They stay looking as the same diagonal line.

Sry guys, it's been a hectic few weeks. Work, life and all Lol.. One thing I want to point out real quick is that I haven't updated the curves for the latest firmware in the release candidate section yet. Even though they say "old" and "new". A new beta firmware has dropped since 6/23, I will update when I can. Also, I accidentally posted the code for a curve Mist had made, it looks a little different then mine. I will update that as well. I should have time to accomplish all this early next week and will post when everything is up to date. I personally rarely play Destiny any more but I will spend sometime with it to make sure everything is correct. Thanks for your patience.

Hello,
I'm a new XIM4 user and I've been trying to follow along with your advanced setup guidelines.  I'm beginning to better conceptualize all of the potential in the XIM4 and in a mouse with onboard memory.  So thank you for all of the information you've included.

One area of confusion I have is in regards to the activation of the Running configuration.  In your HIP/ADS setup, you have J9 set to Sprint (Hold to start the Run Config), but in your Vehicle configuration you have (B) on the mouse set to go to the Running configuration.  Is there a way to assign two activation buttons to a single config?  And in doing so, wouldn't that (B) on the mouse then interfere with your melee by pulling up the Running configuration while trying to melee while in HIP/ADS Config?

I'm sure there is something easy that I'm missing (perhaps older images from different/conflicting configurations?), but any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello Furious Furby, Sry about the confusion. This Setup Guide has seen multiple updates since I first posted it and that includes some button variations. I must have missed updating those pics. I used to use the Back button to run, had changed it to J9 and failed to completely update the pic. I currently only use "B" for Melee, J9 for Sprint and J7 for crouch. Good catch, Thank you!

RML, many thanks for sharing your config, it was a good starting point.
But I still couldn't figure a couple of things:

1. My firmware is latest, but I can't find aim assist field in my app.
2. I did LGS setup as you recommend and still can't bind DPI buttons. In windows environment it works properly (types 3 and 2) but xim app can't recognize they anyway. Maybe I need to try to assign a buttons 2 and 3 directly from the keyboard and then switch back to nav?

By Aim assist, I'm assuming you mean Turn Assist? If you have the latest firmware that can be found in the release candidate section, then it will be in Xim Manager. If it's not right here in Manager, then you don't have the latest build.

In LGS you have to assign KB buttons to Dpi up and down as I did, then they will be recognized in Manager. That's all K3, K4, etc. mean "Keyboard Buttons 3 and 4."

Is there a way to copy the exact shapes on the advanced ads?

I don't even know how to explain this.

When coping codes you should always click on the Select button. That will highlight everything that needs to be copy/pasted. Then right click on the highlighted text and copy it.

When I paste the ballistic curves they don't show the shape as displayed in the pictures by OP.

They stay looking as the same diagonal line.

It sounds like you're using a different firmware then what I've posted. I'm going to update this next week.

Did you assign KB buttons to those unrecognizable buttons within LGS? You have to do that before Xim Manager will recognize them. Look through the OP again, I added a link there that talked about doing this in the mouse software on your computer.

need a little help understanding. I think I have all my settings correct as far as hip, ads, running and vehicle. but I'm on sure on activation. I use the sony nav and g502, I have all my buttons assigned to a key stroke.

how do I know something is activated. like I use the save stick button to sprint, I have that bound to the run map..i think, LOL

also, what is steady aim?

Or have Xim Manager open - all keypresses will display on-screen.

So i have a question, im new here so im sorry if im asking dumb questions.
Ive been running with the T1 since destiny release, and with the settings i had the huge amount of auto aim in Destiny worked fine really.

Im all for aiming my self, but it feels like you are a bit gimped when playing destiny since the auto aim when using the controller is so high.

So what does the balistic curve actually do?
Do i loose the 1to1 mouse feel? And does it give me "more sticky autoaim", so it aims for me to some degree?
Or what does the curve actually do ?

I'm assuming you're talking about the ADS curve. If so, I created this curve to actually Combat Sticky aim. I like to have a lot of control over my aiming "Especially when aiming at multiple targets." Sticky aim works great for 1v1 encounters but screws with your aim when several targets our on the screen. I don't like the feeling of being dragged around the screen, sticky aim also makes headshots more difficult for me. This curve won't completely over power sticky aim, just helps with more control of your aiming when sticky aim kicks in.

RML,

Thank you for doing this! I'm jumping into this XiM4 thing with both feet.  I'm applying it to Destiny/PS4 and frankly, it's a bit overwhelming.  Please keep it up!

I don't have the turn assist option on my XIM manager, why is that?
