How many if you playing GTA V on PC?

Just wondering how many of you bought this on PC?
And what's your experience been like?

Personally I've bought this on 360 then later on PS4, and now on PC.
For me I'd have to say the PC version is the definitive version.

It runs absolutely buttery, and looks beautiful.

The First Person mode work 99% flawless and meets my expectations much more adequately then how it was on PS4. (I mean of course it does). Even though the mouse input is set to RAW in menu, there is a very slight floating feel, no where near as bad as the feel you get from VSYNC but its there however slight. I'm sure some tweak will come along to eradicate this feeling.

At the moment I'm inclined to redo the single player, the functioning First Person mode is enough to make me want to play through it again like this.

Having a 360 pad front and centre desk for when I just into a car is a perfect setup for me, switching back to keyboard and mouse while on foot in first person.

So how are you all finding it?

That's exactly what I do, I use the xb1 controller for vehicles, and just use KB/m for shooting, game is pretty fun.

100+ fps on a gtx970, game is smoooth

Have they released that wireless dongle for the X1pad on PC yet brother?

Cool, OK, I heard it was coming. Will get an X1 pad when the wireless dongle arrives.

Is there a server browser on pc? Or just the normal drop you into an online session?

I've been playing it as well. I do notice some mouse lag in game occasionally and definitely in start menu. Although it did help to change mouse settings to direct input instead of raw.

I too am very excited for mods. I was heavily into the modding scene for Skyrim and I hope this turns into something similar. Just playing single player right now using the first person mode, and using third person mode for cars and driving.

If you're not a part of r/grandtheftauto_pc on reddit, you need to be. Lots of good info on there and already a FOV mod to increase it past what the game currently allows.

Looks great on 4k DSR.  I'm still trying to get use to the camera centering when driving as auto center is too slow compared to consoles.  On PS4 I use K&M for everything including flying.  But I heard the fly controls on the PC just suck.  I also don't like the key binds not letting me keep conflicted bindings. 

Haven't tried online yet, as I'm still playing Heists with my buddies on PS4 trying to challenge the $10 million for Criminal Mastermind.

Tried plugging XIM4 in and use keyboard and mouse to fly.  In fact I can play the entire game this way using the X1 GTA ST.  Worked like a charm.  Higher turn limit as well.

Couple of questions before I end up buying it and it just sits on my hd:

1. Is the multiplayer similar to Max Payne 3? I.e. the movement, shooting mechanics etc.
2. In the single player can you save mid mission? I only play in small bursts so don't want to be restricted.
3. Do you have to play the boring side missions to progress? I don't want to be a taxi driver just to earn cash to buy a gun and start the next mission.

- Dunno never played Max Payne

- The game (i'm almost positive) auto saves more often then prevision GTA games, i'm sure they said that was a new feature they added because they knew how much the community wanted it.

- Nope you can just bash on playing the main story, BUT tbh i found alot of the side missions quite entertaining.

Whether or not it played like Max Payne was just out of curiosity. As side missions are not forced and it has a decent save system I will buy this when I get bored of Hardline.
