If competitive COD move to PS4 this year for BO3, from xbox. Are we gonna be able to use our XIMs to work on PS4? As I've seen an article about other M/K adapter specialised for PS4, n will possibly block XIM adapter to work. Anyone know an answer for this? (hi OBsIV) :D

It definately has the Treyarch look to it. Kills are quick, power killstreaks are back, care packages take forever to come to you which is awesome. Looking forward to it. Be good to get some killstreak mayhem going again. I see lot multi kills which reminds of those in MW2.

TTK better be adjusted come launch. Multiple pro players at E3 have said it's too quick.

All I need is good netcode. Fortunately, I'm not seeing tell tale signs of bad player syncing which were clearly evident even from the earliest footage of AW and Black Ops 2. No one bullet deaths, and no weird enemy player death animations that look like they skipped a bunch of frames. Though, I'm only basing it on about 10 minutes of MP footage. If there's video of knifing gameplay that would be a big indicator as well.

Overall, I'm probably going to go with BO3 this year. I'm not a big Star Wars fan. Even though that trailer looked more exciting the truth is, when netcode isn't an issue, I usually enjoy COD most. Even with AW being the shittiest, after the recent improvements I find myself playing it more than Battlefields.

Phil,

There is a knifing video out there although he totally blew at it. If i see it again, i will share it.

Is it really 7 vs 7 or was i watching a groundwar type mode?

Unless the beta is an epic fail, I'll be getting bo3. Is going to be hard to go back to the slower, more methodical style of gameplay.

It looks to me like the wall running and boosting was an after thought to the original blueprint of the game to compete with AW.  The Maps I've seen don't have areas to wall run at crucial places.  They are off to the side and in the open. I'm glad they added the boost and wall running done get me wrong. It will add to the fun of the game.

I love the movement of AW. Just hate the horrible connections.

Here is a sniping video from TMartn.  I'm not a fan of his but just linking it so people get an idea.  You can see he's getting used to it but the movement system looks like a dumbed down version of AW.  I see there is C4 and shock charges in this game again..........sigh.

Hard to tell how difficult sniping is but there is definitely quickscoping.  The Scythe looks way OP to me.  2 bullet kill from a minigun and it's not hard to get.  I don't know, just very meh on this game so far.  Anyway take a look.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFluBlJbp70

There was not a single Quickscope in that entire vid... why do you think it's possible?  They removed snap-to aim assist for sniper rifles a while ago (BLOPS 2 IIRC).  The only thing that sniper rifles have is aim slow down when nearing targets.  All other weapon types have both.

Here is a video of Domination.  Gameplay is definitely back to the slower pace of older cods.  TTK is quick but recoil in the guns he was using seem sufficient.  It's going to feel so slow compared to AW............lol.  After the first month I don't think you'll see anybody wallrun because every place to do it is in the open.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=11&v=mgtIUAPmt60

Like the slower pace.  Like the map design from what little I've seen.  TTK is still CoDish, but what can you do?  (Not play it I guess lol)  A little more interested than I was before.  Loved BLOPS2 so maybe I will at least like this.  Can't be worse than AW...

Something very Crysis like about the game, though.  Reminds me more of that than TitanFall ATM.  Maybe because no one is doing any TF type stuff in the vids I've seen.  That and the suits are similar to Crysis lol.

Just sat here wondering when Dale and the boys are buying PS4s..
I would be buying ALOT of CRONUSMAX stock right now.

There are over 6x as many people playing competitive on XBOX over PS4. All the pros play XBOX.

So, if they're going to force them to play PS4- a LOT of people will be buying CRONUSMAX to use their XBOX controllers on PS4.

Yup. Pretty dumb move, from a competitive stand point.

That "natural curve" you [roads] are talking about was me taking a wild guess what the game was doing (which was completely wrong of course).

It's happened before on other games.  They will adapt.  Just the way it goes.
