xim manager freezing pc when launching in commander mode.

Computer freezes when i lauch xim manager in commander mode... but when i deleted the /commander" from the end of the target, it runs fine... is this a common occurance? os OBsIV know why?  Od1N?

It won't do anything unless you are connected to your XIM4 via the supported transfer cable and you are running the latest firmware.

Hooked xim to PC and ran the latest firmware... wouldnt install.cause most recent one was already loaded to it.

What type of cable is it? And, what port is your controller plugged in to?

Belkin f4u060 easy transfer cable.  Should I plug transfer cable into port 1 and controller into port 3?  Because I wasnt doing that.

OK This may sound stupid... but when I have the supplied braided micro USB cable plugged into a USB port on my PC the other end in the microusb port on the xim and the Easy transfer cable plug into port number 1 (1 dot)... and other end plugged into PC as well... XIM Commander doesnt freeze, xim manager picks up my key presses (mouse and keyboard are plugged into PC as well).... nad xim commander will let me enable/disable.  it won't connect either when i pluged the micro usb into the ps4.  itll only connect to xim manager when its hooked to the PC>

Yes, this is how it works. You need to have the transfer cable connected between your PC and XIM4.

the only time it even remotely "works" is when the micro usb is plugged into the PC.. its rather frustrating... ic onnect anything else and it wont work.

PORT C - INTO PS4
PORT 3 - PS4 CONTROLLER
PORT 1 - TRANSFER CABLE TO PC
K/B AND MOUSE PLUGGED INTO PC

It is not working for me when I do it this way.

The ONLY way it works is when I plug just the cable from PORT C (microusb) TO PC.  (the port you use to plug into PS4)

now...
when i plug PS4 into port C
easy transfer into port 1 (1 dot)
and controller into port 3 (3 dots)

it says "failure connecting to USB transfer cable"
[-1]

but i know this cable is supported and that its working fine, ive used it doing other stuff just recently... and have read it was supported, thats why i bought it.

ok so for some reason.. with all the cables there they NEED TO be.. it somehow decided to just randomly start working.. but now.. i get this...

got that error because i dragged the application out of the folder it installed to, instead of making a shortcut to it, and it had no idea where the files its dependent on were at.  lol

all is well and is working good.
