Ok...well I am greatfull that I am at least a little tech savvy. I was running an old beta version on my Xim 4 and never updated to the latest released update being that when I tried to update the Xim firmware said I had a newer version already installed. Well I went back right now and just restored my Xim 4 with that latest released firmware and all is working good. Glad I thought about doing that. So I can confirm that with the controller update and latest firmware everything works as of now. Didn't have a second controller either.

Good to hear that the XIM4 firmware update solved it.

My XB1 says that there is no update available.. then again I cannot sign into XBL on my One or the smartglass app...I can sign into 360 though.

I'm in the preview program and I have updated my controller. Xim4 is aware and operational.

No. I'm an idiot. I misread and got panicked haha!

XBL was down for me last night though, but only on XB1 (360 was fine). I could not access anything online related, but... and maybe this may help others in the future.

I opened my XB1 Smartglass Android app.. for a while it did not show friends or anything, but after a while of refreshing, my friends loaded on the app, but the console did NOT work online... so I tried connecting to my console from my phone and sure enough, the friends app started working on the XB1... then I was able to log into Destiny and play for a little bit. It's weird that the XB1 app worked, but not the console, but XBL was having server issues all day yesterday.
