XIM Edge PC Pass through using Cronus max?

I know the commander app can do this with the XIM4 but it's not possible for me to purchase this at the moment.

I already own an XIME and CronusMax and I'm aware of being able to plug the XIM into the cronus max and then KB+M into the XIM. But due to being near the PC constantly I like the pass-through method and was wondering is it possible with this setup?

If not I'll just have to wait till I get an XIM4 but was wondering incase it's possible for the time-being.

I'll try a few different things and will make you aware of my findings. Just figured I'd ask incase someone has already tried.
