No I have the same router with tomato on it and netduma replaced it easily.
so you replaced your ASUS RT-AC68U with this new one? no @#$%!
I just remember reading a post from ABC123 that stated there was simmilar features in the 3rd party software... is that not so?
3rd Party Firmwares* Tomato
* DD-WRT
* OpenWRT
Those are in order of features from least to most, the only thing tomato has going for it is QoS (theirs is better than DD-WRT).
OpenWRT is by far the best 3rd party firmware for normal network usage.
Incomes Netduma's firmware, built on top of OpenWRT...with the following features added:
- Geo-Filter: Limits the range that the host can be from you.
- Congestion Control (QoS): this is better than QoS and awesome for gaming sessions.
There are also some algorithms for the way this router handles packet routing that make it superior if you have a connection below 50Mb/s...
