Logitech G13 and Final Fantasy XIV on PS4

Hello everyone,

been trying to find a way to make my xim4 accept or even map the buttons to play Final Fantasy online but the PS4 just won't recognize any joystick buttons.  I haven't found much info about FF XIV in the search option other than that it should work natively with a keyboard...  Which game profile i should work is still under investigation, been trying them since last night and still i can't find out one that will bind joystick to keyboard commands.

I would so love to use the keyboard as the keyboard it should be and the joystick as is.  Any chance can point me to a profile for that?

the PS4 natively only detects real keyboards and mice, so thats probably why the PS4 doesnt pickup yours

or are you trying to bind buttons through the XIM4?

hi Od1n,  that is exactly what i am trying for, binding through xim4 so it comes out as keyboard keys instead of the ignored joystick button.  I think it could be done using the xim4's translator easily, i just need to find out which one of the many profiles allows for this, or at least more than just the 4 directional keys.  Is there such a profile ?

ok i'll bite, after reading in the forum it would seem i can make the G13 be seen as either joystick or keyboard...  How do i make it function as a keyboard, sacrificing the thumb-stick?  And is there a profile i then need to use to play any MMO that allows a keyboard?

really confused and depressive about not being able to play with the g13&xim4 combo on ps4!
