xim4 power faults
« on: 08:19 PM - 10/24/14 »
Hi guys! I'm using my xim4 to play destiny on playstation 4. As of late my xim4 stops working and shows me on the mananger the caution signs on the peripherals. The thing is I'm using naga razer mouse, a razer nostromo and my ps4 controller. Now the controller is on a full charge while the razer peripherals are wire so there is no charge needed. Why do I keep getting this error? And no matter how many times I tried to unplug and plug everything again, it hasppens all over again within 5 minutes. Also I was just playing and no matter how I reset now it goes straight into power fault mode.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Power Fault means the Keypad and mouse are trying to draw more power then the xim can provide over usb.  Try Disabling the Lights on your keypad and mouse.

Correct, if your peripherals have bright lights on them then that's likely the source of the problem.

I didn't have the issue before, but I will give it a try. Thanks for the help.
