Isn't Japan like the leader in technology? Im surprised they havent come out with a XIM like device.

Welcome to the community. Unfortunately it was brought to our attention that Japan has additional certification requirements beyond FCC and CE for Bluetooth devices. So, we had to take Japan off the shipping list until we work this out. Unfortunately, we have no ETA.

Fumo Shop is $50 more expensive than XIM4.com.

Ehhh... Not sure if this is possible (or even legal for that matter) but you COULD technically use a reshipping company to get the Xim4 over there...

Actually it might be completely legal due to the fact that the actual item was "technically" purchased and handed off by a US based company.

fumo-shop also requires additional certification as well.

I confirmed the additional certification of XIM4 web site of the Japanese government.
But it is not possible to confirm the XIM4.

XIM4 went through extensive testing over several days to get FCC and CE certification. But, it isn't enough for Japan so we are working on that now.
