[PENDING] Xim4 Manager on Galaxy Tab3 black screen  (Read 2961 times)

Please help, getting nothing but the black screen. Reinstalled the app multiple times after clearing cache. I can pair Xim4 via bluetooth no problems. Switching apps back and forth trick didn't work. Desperate  :'(

You are able to run OpenGL apps fine? Games and such? Can you reinstall from Google Play?

OpenGL = 3d Games? Yes, just loaded temple run, no problems. Also reinstalled from AppStore and same thing :(

  I don't have the tablet in my hands atm but I have ran the xim manager with 2 versions of the tab 3 and had no issues on the Xim4.

  Is software on your tablet up to date? Have you tried rebooting your tablet and then a fresh install ?

I have Android Version 4.1.2 and yes, I just uninstalled it - rebooted - reinstalled and no luck still

I have a Samsung tablet and the app does the same thing for me. Just a black screen. But the XIM4 also doesn't show up under Bluetooth devices either.

Have you pressed the P button on xim 4 to make it discoverable?

If you were a XIM4E tester, you need to clear our your machine. There is a topic under the Support forum.

We are going to need to put it under the debugger but I just don't have time. I'm sorry.  The best you can do right now is use Offline configuration mode so you can start gaming and let us report the problem to the company that makes the UI framework.

And, just use "adb logcat" (instead of the longer command) and look why your graphics driver is failing when XIM4 Manager is launched.
