[RESOLVED] Xim4 is not working, no ligths at all

Hi everyone,

i am opening a new topic because nicole from the support team told me to do so.
My problem is, that the xim4 doesnt boot. I've no flashing LEDs. No rainbow lights...

Things i tryed:

-using different usb ports at the ps4
-using different usb cables (incl. the xim4 usb cable)

my hardware:
logitech g700
logitech g710+

Any suggestions what i could try? I would love to play

Hi, sorry you are having issues.

If you hold the 'P' button down on the back of your XIM4 and, while continuing to hold it, plug it into your PC, does you XIM4 light up blue?

I just tryed your advice. I'm sorry to say that but there is no light either.
Probobly i would say something is wrong with the usb powerport. :/

You tried plugging it into your PC (not your PS4)?

Do you see any physical damage to the micro-USB port?

Yes i tried different USB Ports of my PC.
Front and back USB. In the Device Manager IT says no Devices detected AT the Ports.
The USB Port looks perfectly Good as the Rest of xim.

Ok, if you tried multiple cables and multiple computers and consoles and ports on those consoles I can't understand what's wrong. Every device that does out is fully tested.

Please open an RMA via your store account and they'll give you instructions for repair. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I'd ask one more question, just to make sure of something:

You are using the braided cable that came with XIM to attach it to your PC, correct?  Attached to the micro USB port that is beside the 'P' button?

@aiken_drum: yes i used the braided cable. Micro USB in xim4 normal USB ending in ps4. I've Open an RAM. Thanks so far.

Thanks for the clarification and update, smzj.  I'm going to resolve this issue, since we're done with the troubleshooting stage and your next step is to get a new unit.  If you have any problems with your RMA process, please let us know.  Sorry again for the inconvenience, we know it's no fun to get a new toy that doesn't work right.
