While using the xim4 does the xbox one battery deplete or does it get power from the xim4, I ask this because in the instruction video it says the controller must have full batteries?

Take the batteries out. From what people said earlier xim4e would have issues if the dual shock 4 controller wasn't fully charged and taking the battery out solved it.

That would be excellent if the controller got charged while plugged into XIM4.

It will charge. But, it may charge if its really drained since the power requirements are large and XIM4 has to power your other peripherals. If it draws too much power, XIM4 will tell you. I haven't heard anyone talk about hitting the new "circuit breaker" XIM4 has.

The main reason I asked about the battery was I didn't want it to stop working after playing for a while because the xbox one batteries died, but what you said is great means that won't happen

PS. Thanks for making such a great product, now it can play my favourite games on xbox one/PS4
