Does this happen when you swap ports (i.e. plug your mouse in port 2 and your keyboard in port 1)?

That means it either could be the mouse itself or you are hitting a bug that we fixed with the latest firmware. Do you happen to be running the latest firmware/Manager (20141114)?

The easiest way to test this is to run XIM4 Manager and then click ABOUT in the corner menu.  It shows both versions.  It's a common accident to install only the manager and not the firmware, so this is a good thing to double-check.
