Do you need a soundcard and/or graphics card for streaming with the elgato or avermedia game broadcaster HD?

Yep. Only thing that gets a little tricky is commentary.

Thanks thats good to know. My PC next to my console is not that great in terms of specs. I have an imac 27" a couple feet away but would be a pain in the arse to stream if I use the mac as I would have to keep sliding back and fourth.

In regards to commentary. Whats a good mic to use? I dont wanna go crazy in spending on a mic. I currently have the Audio Technica ATR1100 ( I think thats the model )but I find that I have to really speak close to the mic sometimes.Too close sometimes. Im realky just lookin for a decent mic that I can speak at least 3-5" away and still be heard clearly.

Im also looking for a webcam and I saw this android app called IP Camera. This app allows you to use your smartphone as a webcam. Just wondering if anyone has done this? If so how did you set it up on twitch?
