I don't have an orb.  I did that mod and mailed it off to the gentleman who paid me to do it.  n52te has 15 keys.

very well, i got them for the reds but not to reduce the sound but to get a better feel for the activation
on reds the activation is somewhere between bottom out and mid travel distance
the o-rings to have the necessary heights so that when you bottom out with the o-rings you directly hit the activation point

gives you much more predictable button presses imo

Need to try this. What O-rings did you use? and how many per switch?

mine are red, so it should be the 2mm version i linked before (40 A-L)
only one ring per key, you put it on the keycap and then press the keycap as hard as you can into the keyboard or else the ring wont go up totally
if it isnt up totally you cannot activate your key
