Mapping 360 controller thumbsticks -
« on: 07:11 PM - 09/06/09 »
Is there a wizard or easy way to do this? I'm struggling getting it smooth and perfect for moving around in Call of Duty: World at War. I'm using a Wired 360 Xbox controller. Also, I read in another thread that during a macro you are not able to use other inputs such as jumping around, but what about during button presses? I mapped the left trigger/''axis'' to aim just as it should do with the default controls, but whilst aiming, I am no longer able to move my reticule to target enemies, or fire/jump, etc. Is this a current limitation of Magnata, or poor configuration on my part?

If you use macros, then that is a limitation up until 1.5 where macros dont limit the behavior of trigger anymore.

see here: http://xim3.com/community/index.php?topic=3188.0
for more details.

There is a current limitation on magnata to interpret smooth "diagonals" on analog
because horizontal and vertical work fine.

This is to be fixed (hopefully by 1.5).

But I would really like to have you as a tester. Because you have very specific requirements for a specific user case.  Can you join the thread in :

and let me know who you you are so we can deal with your scnerario in particular.

I want also to be the #1 app for FPS.
so I need your help also. And yes, I am willing to change stuff for your stuff, so you do have a chance to have things working as you'd like them to!
