Tiger Woods Advice

I'm trying to make macros for Tiger Woods. I'm not really a huge Tiger Woods fan but after trying the XIM with Fight Night, I got a little curious. THANKS A LOT TARUN!!!!!!  >:( lol jk

This is the issue I'm having. My macros that I make are pretty inconsistent. They will vary from 4%-12% in power when I'm not changing a thing. Sometimes I will change a Sleep step and will by just a little and get no change, then a significant change. I have played with the Input Interval, thinking it was the problem but it is still a inconsistent. Sometimes it's more consistent than others. It seems there is a huge difference in the timing of the macro when I switch from test macro mode to run mode. Not sure if it's something I'm doing (which I'm sure it is) or if it's the game.

Well, I got it narrowed down to either hitting 98% or 94% every time. 94% doesn't come that often, but it happens. It also, every 3 shots or so, doesn't quite get perfect accuracy. It slightly slices it to the right. This is tolerable and I just wish I had more time to mess with it. I have it narrowed down to being VERY close, I think it will just take some trial and error. I messed with the input interval and settled on 45, which seems pretty solid. I will put some more time into it shortly. I need a break from it. lol

ANOTHER UPDATE lol

So I figured out how to get it to 109% every time. It's just the accuracy part that is tricky. I think the problem was is even with an input interval set at 55 was still too fast. I bumped it up to 100 and it's a huge difference. It's hitting the second button in the macro perfectly. It's just the accuracy I'm having trouble with now.

lol. Yeah. I ran out of time to work on it.. It got the macro to work about 60% of the time, maybe more. The other 40% would slice to the right. It was nice though. My created guy, with a power rating of 3.5, could drive the ball 250+ yards. I figure when I get it figured out, I will be able to set macros for almost every power percentage. I wouldn't need the first 1-25% because even when you are inches away from the hole, you still use more power than you think you would and those shots are easy to make, so picking up the controller "ain't no thang." Anyway, back on topic, I hope after this first macro is done, the following macros will be much easier. Hopefully it's not the same trial and error with each macro.

Also, any advice on why the macros vary so much from Magnata's run mode and test macro mode? This didn't make too much sense to me. If I take a macro into test mode, get it working close pretty close to perfect, then take it into Run mode, the macro is significantly different in timing? Any explanation? Does the test mode run at a default input interval every time? Or does it run from what your input interval is on the Advanced tab?

I'd rather not bother him, seeing is how this is such a minor problem. I'm sure he's busy. He'll eventually read this, I'm sure. Hopefully.. lol

UPDATE (9/2/09): WOOOOO! I JUST REALIZED THIS WAS MY 500TH POST!

I made some scripts already for autohotkey.

I'm currently not near my xbox, but my stats go are along the lines of:

3 hole in one
5 double eagles
50 eagles
450 birdies
300 pars
7 bogeys
2 double bogeys

I hit the fairway in the upper 80% of the time.

All of my bogeys were obtained by taking high rish shots like shooting over trees trying to hit the green in one.

Putting is at 1.12 last time I checked.

All my stats are in the 11's without any equiptment boost :)

Been playing the game very casually for 3 weeks, most my screw ups that result in par are my short distance shots, still can't gage how much the ball will be off when chipping on a slanted hill.

My macro still has room for improvement.
