I sure will install bootcamp and buy a licenced copy of Windows 7 or 8 just for the XIM app. If there is an IOS app a Mac would be nice.

Why would you want that? Then you need a whole additional screen and input device to work with. At that point you'd be better off using a PC.
Not sure if your mac Bluetooh will work with it,but you may also try to run the Android app via the http://www.bluestacks.com/ software (emulates Android on Win / Mac, so you won't have to set up a whole VM)
