Who's excited for Destiny on XIM4?

Vale where are you located? There are so many GameStop locations the lines are very short . At least where I'm from.

I'm in Texas. There are tooons of Gamestops around me. The location I purchased my preorder literally sits 200 yards from another Gamestop lol. The only thing is both these store are always crazy busy. Every time I go in there is a line. It's such a busy location they plan to have a Destiny truck out front full of consoles to play on (maybe I should bring my whole XIM setup ) I wan't to get home 12:30 at the latest. I'm already going to be getting tired when I log on probably.

This is a situation where it is more advantageous to get the physical copy than digital. If you can find a retailer that sells it early, the servers will be up on Monday morning on the east coast.  Bungie has said they don't care if you play early.

Digital can be preloaded now, but you can't play until 12am PDT.

I have called everywhere asking if they will sell the game early, cause every business already has the Bungie boxes in the back.. One store owner even told me to bring him the receipt of anyone who sells the game early, and he will put them out of business lol. I think I'm gonna have to stick to the midnight release

Destiny really begins at Level 20. Afterwards, each player’s power is displayed as their Light Level – this is the yellow number in their nameplate post-20 in the Tower. The way to increase that Level? Get better gear.

Additionally, post-Level 20, players will unlock the Heroic mode progressions for Daily Heroic Story Chapters and Weekly Heroic Strikes. For example, in the Weekly Heroic Strikes, there are three recommended Light Levels and the first one, 22, will feature two modifiers."

I can get my hands on it tomorrow but for the ps3 and 360 versions though. Sucks that my territory will only be able to rent it on these systems.  I expect a lot of this title being stolen.

well, we got the setup ready and am ready to start streaming and giving it a full rundown in a bit. I might eventually move down my PC itself but for now, the wires just cant reach it if its on the floor. Id like to get some Velcro or something to tie up some of the wires once im finished with how I want it set!

So there's a deal on right now that if you buy a PS3 version from PSN, you get comped the same PS4 version.  Same for 360 and XB1, I gather, but I know a lot less about that since I don't have an XB1.

BUT, there's a kicker... you can't pre-load the ps4 version if you do this.  Because your license doesn't actually activate until midnight PDT, the store doesn't recognize you as owning the ps3 version ahead of time and won't comp you the ps4 version until then.  Or so support tells me, anyway.

So if you take this deal, be careful not to run off to your ps4 and pick up that version too without reading carefully, or you'll end up double-billed and having to talk to someone in southeast asia about a refund.  Either wait it out and download at midnight, or don't take the deal and just buy the ps4 version.
