XIM Edge on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
« on: 12:02 PM - 02/16/14 »
Whenever attempting to connect to your XIM Edge on Windows 8.1 or 10, XIMEdgeManager may freeze. This is happening because Windows changed the way it handles power management of some USB devices.

Please extract and run the matching attached command (batch) file to fix this issue and enable XIM Edge on Windows 8.1 or 10.

NOTE: You must start your Command Prompt as elevated before running this script.

Thanks to FrizzleFry for this solution for Windows 8.1 and abc123 for Windows 10.
