GoW 2 config (way smoother at 30 updates)
« on: 09:56 PM - 08/16/09 »
screen 1920 x 1080 120hz

mouse 200 dpi
in game settings all maxed out

InputUpdateFrequency=30
DeadZone=9540
DeadZoneType=Square
YXRatio=1.99
TranslationExponent=.77
SensitivityPrimary=450
SensitivitySecondary=575
DiagonalDampen=0.35

pretty much completely sure its actually running at 30 not the 60 that has allways been assumed

my mouse settings are done thru the mouse (habu) software, are updae rate 100hz, 2000dpi, all drivers are current, sens settings in windows at dead center, all acceleration is off

it has been very very good to me
Smoothness=.40

quick question, is that 200 dpi a typo or were you truly using a 200 dpi mouse?

mstenger404,

further down in his post he says "my mouse settings are done thru the mouse (habu) software, are updae rate 100hz, 2000dpi"

Skag,

This config just doesn't work well for me. I ran this with my mx518 at 1800 dpi and it just didn't feel as good as my current config. Maybe its the dpi / polling rate difference.

I've tried configs from the following people: cameltoe, ceorko, tonester, bobawpsol, nickstudy.

Nickstudy's config plays the best in my opinion.
