What's the difference between "Overwatch 2 update" that's currently checked and "Overwatch 2 (mechanic check)"?

It means that we will have another ST update?
In order to make an update is not necessary to check the game mechanic in the process?

You should train the 16dz ALC  ST for stv3 being there is a mass amount of people wanting it and there is no way to load it onto matrix
