Does this game need the precision of a mouse? This is the reason why we haven't supported previous LoTR games.

Hey Mist. For this LOTR, there is quite a fair bit of Arrow use. This game is similar to AC4 BF in terms of look and spec. Since XIM supports AC4 I thought I throw it in and ask. So yes, you do need the precision and keyboard binds in certain combat.

good point hard to say which games need mouse/kb persay.

I personally saw the AC on the st list and my first thought was who would wanna play this with that over the controller? Some games have great controller controls and still people ask for m/kb st's for them oddly. Games that aren't fps's and i don't see any benefits to using such a setup for.

Still maybe lets wait on shadow of mordor until we see exactly what kinda controls it uses and whether they would actually benefit from having an st for. I mean if its only one small section of the game and lets first see if the controls are just fine without it and just as precise.

Have reviewers who tried it hand-on complaining that the arrow parts are imprecise and could benefit from i? Lets wait if its worth making an st for.

I gotta agree with mist.  Seems like you just saw a demo video and saw a arrow section and thought let me ask for an st for that! There's no way to tell if the controls warrant the preciseness of a mouse from it. They might work perfectly fine as they are. Its not an fps so i highly doubt the developers want you fighting with exact controls.  Last of US remastered i found had okay bow/arrow controls just like tomb raider. Plenty of games work just fine with controller.

Wait till its released and then ask again is what i would do.

Hi All ..

Just wanted to know if you will be releasing a newer Smart Trans. for Grand Theft Auto V.  They are releasing it for PS4/XBOne in November with a first person toggle/view.  Or, does the current Smart Trans. that works for PS3/360 will work with the newer consoles...  Sorry if someone asked this all ready...

Hi, unfortunately there are no plans to support Diablo 3. From what I've heard though it feels like this game was made for the controller, even though it's a pc port. That said, if you absolutely must use a mouse and keyboard you are free to use another games ST as a substitute. Since each games look mechanic is different you may find that one games ST works better than another. I recommend loading your XIM4 with several different games and flipping between them while moving your mouse to find the best feel. After that set your binds according to the button pictures, not the action names.

Mist please consider Slender the Arrival and Secret of Monkey Island 1 and 2 for xbox 360 (can also be other platforms). Also Raven is highly in need of kb/m setup as its basically a old school point and click in 3d. The controller is hard to swing around to highlight areas and using moving with the other sticks frustrating.

These games were made for mouse/kb controls

More of a question than a request...
With the big BF4 patch coming out 30th Sept that promises changes to just about everything including movement; do you guys anticipate that the ST will need to be changed?
"Never argue with an idiot, he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience"

XIM4, G502, RoccT, Nav controller, NextBook M865, not enough time in the day...

I wouldn't be surprised. The ST's will be updated if necessary. Do you have a changelog or patch notes?

Is it possible to add a settings importer from XIM3/XIMe to XIM4 Game Manager? I have my XIM settings and configs (the XIM3LocalStore.bin file) kept up from every new RC build and I dont want to copy/write down all my settings per game. Thanks!
