I remember that as well.  I was still noobish I bought a xim2 but not from here and just lurked for a while.   Last time it was in batches if I remember correctly. 

This time around there's enough of us that know we are going to purchase the XIM4 regardless, I feel like once a price is announced we should prepay way ahead this time so the first "batch" we all get one.  I know there were a ton of people waiting until the 3rd + batch was released last time that was just craziness on these boards.

Yeah the way the XIM2 went us you ordered got a number in line then Obsiv would update a thread saying which numbers he finished and shipped. Long time ago. Haha

I am hopeful the production numbers are big. I am so dependent on xim now. I purchased an xbone and went back to 360 b/c I suck so bad at the regular controller. Guess I am too old for new tricks.

 I had a xim2 but bought it from ebay for some overpriced amount, xim 3 got it right near launch (remembered hitting refresh repeatedly, and I skipped out on edge. I lurk most of the time I only average a post every 10 days or so.  register date was back in 1/26/2010 (do I make the cut ) :-\

Just so it's clear to everybody.  As of right now, post count nor forum registration date will have no influence on Xim4 orders........lol.  OBsiv will update us on the ordering process and Xim4 features soon.  We are simply having fun :).

I also had a Xim2, and sold that when the Xim3 came out. I was going to buy the Edge, but then decided not to because I like the screen on Xim3.

Can't wait for the Xim4! Hope it has a screen to navigate.

I think in the "this is not a Q & A thread" I saw a post that said there would be a screen to navigate.  Now whether that screen is a smartphone is the question.....
