Hey - Quick question. Im playing ghosts on ps4 and have my ST as the ps3 one, using a wired xbox 360 controller. It seems like i have a good calibration, but whenever i try to look straight up or straight down in Hip fire, my aim drifts right slightly... I created the digital version of the w11ce device, so no analog sticks.

Any thoughts?

Dunno if it matters.... what xim are you using? My 360 controller would make my xim3 do that at times.
Try bumping the 360's analog stick to stop it?

using my xim edge. its not a physical stick problem since my aim is dead still when at rest, its only when i move vertically that the aim drifts to the right.

Play about with the Y/X Ratio & Ballistic feature on the XIM4E Manager :)

For the hip try using a lower accel curve at the beginning

0.0 - 3.0 -  7.0 - 12.0 - 17.0 etc... Until it feels alright

Also make sure the Xbox sticks are "Pulled Up/Outwards" and centred so your reticle doesn't drift slightly in 1 direction :)
I just wanted to say that you are a phenomenal gamer. You make it look so easy and your gameplay has this commanding "tone" to it (i.e. not frantic -- more of a dominating calm :) ).

hmm i've restrained myself from upgrading to the XIM4E since i dont have a usb dongle or the blue tooth. are they required ?

Well, The extra features help with the deadzone issue since you can apply the settings instantly & see what worked better. I guess you can try using the ballistic editor on the XIM EDGE manager, But that means unpluging & repluging the XIM constantly which can be a pain :(

Will do - I actually noticed that if I unplug my XIM edge from the w11ce device while connected to a game in ghosts, my aim does actually drift down and right - but the moment i plug back in my XIM edge it immediately stops.

Roads do you still suspect RY and RY2 with this info?

Alrighty, after getting my fill of titanfall beta I finally got my lazy butt around to finishing the wire up on this. So far so good, tested it in BF4 campaign, everything seems to work  ;D

Was worried for a sec since joy.cpl was showing some slight jitter on the Z-axis but it doesnt seem to translate into the actual game, so yay   :)

A big THANK YOU to W11cE for this tut, and thanks to everyone who posted information they learned while building theirs, no more fps withdrawal for me, I love you guys  :-*.

Riggidy wait what the Hori Controller will do. If it works wired then the Edge beta can do PS4 within a week.

And to mention, Obsiv is primarily focused on making the Xim4 wireless. It would be pointless to buy this controller just for XIM4E.
