Tut: USB -> DualShock 4 adapter mod (W11cE Device)

Gentlemen....I think we all know who gets the credit for this awesome sauce.  W11CE is the man.  Although I appreciate the mention, I'd rather my forum name not be mixed up in anything remotely close to taking credit away from this man.

Can someone enlighten me here please, is that rdc board for the w11ce mod for the ps4? If yes than does that bord simplify the orocess at all? Another thing,  does this mod compare to the xim4e on xbox one in performance and feel? Thank you guys

Yes very similar, comes 90% close. The RDC pcb makes the basic mod quite easy yes.

That RDC board is to simplify one of the most time consuming part of this project build.

Having used this device for the past week, it works awesome. And it takes a lot of me to say that with certain things. W11ce is a genius. You would have to try it out to believe it.

Those were big help even though i ended up making the controller my way.

I tried a GameStop labeled 360 controller and it did not work.  I do not know why nor do I understand why it wouldn't work....all I know is that it didn't.  For all I know the controller could be broken but I don't think that's the case. 
I used both my original wired controller and my xim2 modded controller and they both worked great.

OK  ....Guess I'll get a genuine MS model.......Thanks

Lol, glad I decided to comb through every page of this topic. Was racking my brain trying to diagnose why I couldn't get player 1 to hold using some 3rd party 360 controller that I had picked up at Walmart, saw this post then tried a genuine Microsoft controller and it held just fine.

✔ First semi non-existant hurdle cleared.

Onward! MCPs and button wiring, I come for you next! ...when I get out of work  ...if I have some time!

So I got my laird BT adapter in and trying to connect player 1 with xim4e. How did you guys make it work?

If it does not work the "normal" way, try connecting without the hub (that has m+kb) first. After player 1 comes up you connect the hub.
