I don't think you guys understood what I meant. i was using the controller DIRECTLY to the modded DS4. I also tested it with the edge (of course, max sensitivity) with the same outcome (this is where I originally noticed somethign was wrong). When I did my test, it was the same for every sensitivity. Fine for Y and the X was extremely slow.

so you had double up and down, and half left and right - or do you mean double left and half right?

Dont remember I had double speed in one direction. Replace the MCPs.

Problem solved.

It seems I wasn't grounding off of the old motor mounts, I made ground and now all is good. I've wasted about 3-4 hours all because I didn't have a voltimeter to hand which is ridiculous to not have one considering the nature of the project. Lesson learned.

Everything seems pretty smooth just finishing up the MCP wiring and then time to calibrate.

Where did you end up grounding your points? This tip would help me greatly with my first attempt

Exactly where the schematic told me to.

I'm building this at 2-3 am when my 6th month old daughter wakes up teething, so my attention and awareness are awful. I literally looked at photos and didn't correctly read the schematic for my solder location. Lesson learned and 3 hours after solving this problem I have a finished project.

Follow the schematic and all will work perfectly.

I took a video of it. Does this look like what you were talking about Roads? The first one is the modded DS4 with a xbox controller. The second is when I connect the real DS4 and move it.

if x or y axis are not the same speed meaning you draw an oval instead of a circle then something is wrong.

Anyone that used the teensy 3.1 board.. Did you use the most recent 1.18 RC2 software for all this?

Yes that RC teensyduino you need wont compile otherwise.

Quick Question - so i screwed up the first time soldering all the buttons and forgot to solder the "touch pad" button from the DS4 pcb, so right now im just clicking the button every time i need to hit the "touch pad/select" button. I dont really want to redo all of my soldering on my buttons, but cant seem to access that soldering point without burning a bunch of wires now. My question is whether or not any of the four corners on the button will act as a soldering point?

youmean you cant reach the upper left one as you hotglued? You can remove hotglue easily with isopropyl alcohol. There is even a youtube video about it. Cant say if the other legs also do W11ce may know.
