Why dont you just leave out those and make it digital? Just uncomment the digital in the firmware and wire the triggers  directly to the Teensy. I see no reason to do it analog. I will also leave out the black battery holder as I dont think its necessary. The PCB is firmly attached to the upper side with a screw and the room inside is really needed.

W11ce next time you build one could you please make a picture of just the MCP with the resistor and some dummy wires? That would be nice. That resistor gives a EE noob a hard time, Amarce is right. Especially with a picture that is a trap.

Anyone know the proper l2/r2 resistor wiring? The wrong picture is throwing me off and the schematic looks like the transistor connects 3.3v AND l2/r2 outs
You mean resistor connecting between 3,3v and L2/R2 ?
Thats how it is supposed to be.

@Lefty. Min and max values seem to be ok. It is really weird why those are all stucked to minimum (ground). And yet it has been able to calibrate. Broken 360 controller would explain this, but then again if it is tested it cant be that.
You say right stick works? but according to that pic it is stucked too. Zaxis and Zrotation should be on the centre.

My bad was meant to say, the right stick works I have input but the value of the axis sits far left of them boxes, xbox controller is new from box I have 2 controllers and they both give me them readings :( I bet it's something real simple, but it is annoying me, for the life of me I just can't figure it out.

Resolder that MCP, helps sometimes. No MCP the wrong way? Sounds stupid but happens. Best I did was solder the double MCPs solder all cables to it and then see that one MCP was the way round. "Reaaaaaly" I shouted and laughed. Its so embarrassing talking to yourself LOL

Just checked mcp's, no they are fine all the right way even the ones doubled up.?????

Might have too Roads just to see what happens, to be all honest, I followed the tutorial from page 1 and also page 8 once W11cE complited the schematic, I was going to use carbon paint on the pads after they were soldered, but decided to not go down that route, so I have all the pads wired from the DS4 board and also the 5 dummy wires aswell which are still attached to the pads but they have been cut back and are not used, so if I solder the wires of l2 and r2 straight to my teensy, do you think this will solve my left trigger problem aswell ??.

It solves all trigger problems as its PCB to Teensy directly, no errors on that route possible. Or not many. :)

This works with the CM by the way no controller necessary, its confirmed.

I have everything wired up except the 3.3v to l2 and r2, their resistors, and their connections to backside of pcb. W11ce said his pictures have them wired wrong and I don't wanna run those until I'm completely sure how they go.
In wiring schematic its correct. So it is connected between wiper and 3,3v. Why are you suspicious about this?

@lefty, A thing that would cause this would be if you were using 4131 and code was configured for 4151. This is exactly what would happen i think. But you already said those are 4151, so it cant be that then.

This works with the CM by the way no controller necessary, its confirmed.
How is the quality.

Leftfield just had turning to one side and it was gone after calibration. What does calibration say? post the output of the viewer.

CM guy says its quite granular but he uses some old mouse. Told him to get some high DPI but havent heard back from him.

Roads you can see my results in my pictures on page 23, after calibration I still had the left stick stuck top left, and as W11ce pointed out, my z axis and z rotation is also grounded tried a calibrate again tonight and same results all runs thru smoothly, and when I hit up joy.cpl I have the exact same problems, all mcp's are 4151s and all wires are correct, as I quoted earlier I have all the wires on the ds4 pad soldered even the dummy ones still, which I cut and left soldered on the pads due to the fact I did not use the carbon paint, as I said could this be a problem, but I thought it should  not because they are not connected to anything.

Sorry forgot to say, Roads I have never had it gone after calibration mate, always the same baffling head banging problem.

I really need to see the calibration output in the viewer window. It is a stupid simple thing you did there. paste the viewer output of the calibration.
