Tut: USB -> DualShock 4 adapter mod (W11cE Device)

When removing the joystick wipers, if i rip them out, the joysticks will come out as well. Will i need to solder them back in or do they stay out if not making the controller work again?

I was wondering if the joysticks needed to remain soldered in opposite side of the potentiometers, but I found my answer when I saw the unit you made, roads. That thing is awesome by the way. Been at this for 11 hours with little progress because my fine tip irons arent in yet. It's so hard with a medium iron. Givin up for the night.

Yeah this mod drives me crazy. To find the bugs is horrible I hate it so much and mostly its something stupid simple.

Long story short, checked the wireing and solder spots all looks fine, some spots were reheated to make a better contact in some area's, i did not change the mcp's, loaded pot version 8 applied uncomments/comments as per W11cE instructions < (thanks bro for all the help and exactly the same thing, all buttons work triggers work right stick works BUT have the exact same problem left stick moves (not all the way right on the whole right side) but just wants to ping back and sit in the top left corner, its just so close but yet so far , 1 thing i did forget to mention is, after calibration when i unplug the loop and plug the modded DS4 into pc and then plug my xbox 360 controller in it does not light up, i have to unplug the modded DS4 micro USB with the xbox controller still attached to the modded DS4, then replug in the micro usb back in to the modded controller for the player 1 to show up on the xbox 360 controller, is this a sign of my problem's, any help would be gladly appreciated.

I have this too on my full advanced mod. I dont know why, some voltage problem maybe how you connect the lines. I will make it digital triggers so I can rule out those two pots.

Do the 8.2kohm resistors go in line on the 3.3v or do they tee off to l2/r2?? It's hard to tell by the schematic

Anyone know the proper l2/r2 resistor wiring? The wrong picture is throwing me off and the schematic looks like the transistor connects 3.3v AND l2/r2 outs

You mean resistor connecting between 3,3v and L2/R2 ?
Thats how it is supposed to be.

@Lefty. Min and max values seem to be ok. It is really weird why those are all stucked to minimum (ground). And yet it has been able to calibrate. Broken 360 controller would explain this, but then again if it is tested it cant be that.
You say right stick works? but according to that pic it is stucked too. Zaxis and Zrotation should be on the centre.

So the proper l2/r2 wiring has the 3.3v on two of the pins, and the resistor is in line from potentiometer to front pcb?

I have everything wired up except the 3.3v to l2 and r2, their resistors, and their connections to backside of pcb. W11ce said his pictures have them wired wrong and I don't wanna run those until I'm completely sure how they go.
