I have finally colected all the parts needed to take this on.  Is there an updated version of this tut with all the changes?  I'm about to start building tonight.  From reading through the pages there seems to be quite a few changes made.

I cant currently modify posts, so the first thread is not updated. For hardware this is the latest wiring with analog triggers:


It is also possible to wire the triggers as digital too, but there is no schematic of it yet.

Someone correct me if im wrong but, from what is wrote in another post, the only change to do that last mod is to wire R2 & L2 directly to USB Host shield pin 21 & 22, right?

W11ce one annoying thing. To get my Player1 I have to unplug the PS4 from the DS4 and then I plug the Teensy.
Is there any way to only activate the DS4 when player 1 is there?

Well, she is alive!!!!!.  And seems to work great. 
Its pretty late so i havent played a full bf4 game yet but it seemed to respond well.
Joy.cpl showed a steady x/y axis.

Question for you guys .... Is it safe to put the battery back in for a semi wireless mode?  How long do u think the battery would last running the xim, kb/mouse? 

I slapped everything in a case instead of the controller.  If its safe, a larger lipo battery would fit nicely for longer play times

Is this still the correct parts list for the mod ? Thread is getting long and I'm not sure whats been changed ...think I might order the parts this weekend.

- DualShock 4 controller (color does not matter)
- Teensy 3.0 (without header pins) (Teensy 3.1 will probably work, but not yet tested)
- mini USB host shield (from circuitsathome.com)
- 8x MCP4131 or MCP4151 digital potentiometers (MCP4151 recommended)
- AWG 30 wire (multiple colors recommended!)
- A little thicker wire for 5V and ground
- 4,7kohm resistor
- 2x 8,2kohm resistors

Ok it didn't work for me..........
Im having exactlly the same isues as Schecter-Man

My USBshield seem's dead... no movement no player 1 ID

Its flashed? Red lamp on Teensy glows? Calibration verified? Ever had Player1?

Wiring is double checked, flash seem's ok, loading version 8, teensy seem's OK (orange led, no red one),  i do wiring think's explained in this post to calibrate.... ever had player one....  something is wrong, im becoming mad:

Yeah led is orange. So L3 is on 29, you dont use MCPs for the triggers like I did, you use 4151s and you dont have the Joysticks connected? Disconnect the DS4 triangle just connect the teensy and then the xbox controller no XIM. Do you get player 1?
