gotcha I was reading the meaning of Uncomment reverse... it's making it go crazy during calibration now and crashes the program with a java error.

Thats weird... This change does not even change anything critical that would cause crash. Does it crash every time?

Xim 3 works as well with this mod so does the xim 2 and 1 come to think of it, but as other people state on this site and as do i, i would never sell any of the old gen xims i own, once purchased they become a part of my family.

 I have gotten it not to crash a couple times but at no time since I changed it have I gotten the functionality I had back... heres the error

I put // in front of I dont have sticks and all is well i now have down and right but no R1 GRR ALMOST THERE!!!!

Those turquoise axes and aref are optional. This is also why those are not connected in the schematic.

Thanks man! last question 8,3k resistor connects from L2 to 3.3V? Can I just connect the resistor to pin 6 and 8.?

Easiest is doing these:

yeah, thats exactly what I did.  Which one is RX and RX2 if I put them on top of the other?. Right now I have the Bottom one as RX and the top as RX2.
