Well, judging by the amount of work i had to put in this thing you can probably count 500$+ for this with material cost.

Just an FYI, I am by no means an electronics expert. I am good at copying others work, awesome at soldering and following directions. I have ordered everything else, just need little more clarification regarding the resistors required for this.

- 4,7kohm resistor  - According to the second post this is not needed? Correct? Just double checking..


- 2x 8,2kohm resistors - I do not see this in any of the pictures? Where do they go? If they are needed, should i order these? (http://br.mouser.com/ProductDetail/KOA-Speer/MF1-4CCT52R2001B/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMv8QEQcPUP6BUEPmmazQgEX)  it says 2x, so i assume i need to order 16 total?

You only need one 4.7k and 2x 8.2k resistors. But the 4.7k might not be necessary anymore.

Gotcha, now that i see he used "," for almost everything, 4.7 and 8.2 now make sense. Thanks for clarifying this. After looking back at the wiring schematic, i now see and understand where they go. Well see if i have any success with it. Thanks again for the help.

How responsive will this solution be, if i bought the best cables, MCP4161s, and stuff money can buy...

Money aint an issue for me, so obviously im lookin at trying to solve this puzzle

And W11cE? how fluently will the keyboard/mouse respond on the PS4 with this idea?

I must say im quite impressed with your work...

Lag is not an issue. Completing one loop takes ~260us. So overall lag with this would be 8ms (edge end) + 16ms (DS4) + this. So i quess ~24ms.

I have only used this with MCP4131. With those micromovements are barely within acceptable limits. I will get MCP4151 hopefully tomorrow or friday. With those this should be pretty good.

Im planning on spending the next weekend playing killzone and bf4 with this. That is ofcourse if all goes as planned. Christmas tries to ruin my plans . Could record gameplay if there was a way.

To all selling requests: I will make a decision when i have spend some time playing with this on PS4 (and MCP4151 installed). I dont do inferior mods. And the last thing i would do is sell that inferior crap.

Probably the wrong word to use, neater might be a better word, the holes around the USB connectors and the hot glue coming out, but thats just me being over critical.
